A E are out. 'more' requires a 'than' for comparison. Thats missing
B also has a comparative 'greater' but no 'than'. Wrong.
C most is correctly used as a superlative here
D post, highest in prestige is wrong construction. As the post is no general post and we are specific about it,it would have been correct if Post would have been followed by 'that'

Horbach's promotion to partner meant that she enjoyed the more prestigious post held by a woman in any of leading leveraged buyout firms on Wall Street.

A. more prestigious post
B. post of grater prestige
C. most prestigious post
D. post, highest in prestigue
E. more highly prestigious post

More/greater requires a comparison...
Will go with C here ..

The construction "held by any woman" requires a preceding superlative. In this case, the superlative is "most prestigious" and is found in answer choices C) and D). To me C) is way more concise and clear and thus why I chose it as the correct answer.

Correct Answer must be (C) for the correct Superlative usage...
