A E are out. 'more' requires a 'than' for comparison. Thats missing
B also has a comparative 'greater' but no 'than'. Wrong.
C most is correctly used as a superlative here
D post,highest in prestige is wrong construction. As the post is no general post and we are specific about it,it would have been correct if Post would have been followed by 'that'

C is correct in my opinion. the most prestigious post, noun modifier.

Target gmat against the odds.

The construction "held by any woman" requires a preceding superlative. In this case, the superlative is "most prestigious" and is found in answer choices C) and D). To me C) is way more concise and clear and thus why I chose it as the correct answer.
