I was in a similar situation like you a couple of months back. I got Full Scholarship from Scheller, Broad and Fisher and a R1 admit from ISB. I am choosing ISB over the other three.
To begin with, all the 3 US schools are impeccable in their own ways and I feel extremely grateful to have received such hefty offers from them.
My motivation behind choosing ISB was both personal and professional.
Professionally, I want to work in India and the Indianness of ISB - Brand value, network, job opportunities and world class infrastructure are very enticing for me. Secondly, coming from NIT (batch of 800) I enjoy the perk of a large batch size - the lifelong connection is something I won't get in the other 3. And thirdly, it's fast paced 1 year program.
After having 4.5 years of experience, I feel a one year program with around 650 contact hours is ideal.
And personally, I like being here. I have had international experience in the past, and having travelled widely for work and leisure, I am not that blown away to work abroad. And lastly, with parents aging, I feel staying close to home suits me.
My 2 cents: Start writing on a piece of paper about all the things you want after 3-5 years and tick what you can get from which school. Talk to people, take opinions, and then make a decision and stand by it.
