Know Your Presenters
- Emily Glaser is from Long Island, NY and received her undergrad degree from Northwestern. Prior to attending Stern, Emily worked at Restaurant Brands International, focusing on marketing for the Burger King brand. At Stern, she was a Forte Fellow and Advancing Women in Business scholar. She also served on the executive boards of Stern Student Government and the Graduate Marketing Association, as well as worked as a Teaching Assistant for the core Strategy course. She graduated from Stern in May and will be working at Boston Consulting Group as a consultant.
Adam Smith is a Senior Associate Director of MBA Admissions at NYU's Stern School of Business. He has been a member of the MBA Admissions team since 2013. In addition to working across all MBA programs at NYU Stern, Adam is an alumnus of the Langone Part-time MBA.

Few Changes as per AdCom's email:
What's New:
- Earlier Deadlines: The first two application deadlines have been moved up to September 15th and October 15th.
- New Essay: Check out our new essay question that allows you to demonstrate how you embrace change.
Essay 1: _________ it
(350 word maximum, double-spaced, 12-point font)
In today’s global business environment, the only constant is change. Using NYU Stern’s brand call to action, we want to know how you view change. Change: _____ it. Fill in the blank with a word of your choice. Why does this word resonate with you? How will you embrace your own personal tagline while at Stern? Examples:
Change: Dare it.
Change: Dream it.
Change: Drive it.
Change: Empower it.
Change: Manifest it.
Change: [Any word of your choice.]
- Standardized Test Waiver: Stern is extending the standardized test waiver that was introduced in response to the coronavirus pandemic last year. Visit our website to learn more.
This makes it the fourth major school to offer a waiver for this cycle so far, along with Darden, Ross and Kelley.
