x = (18-1.8y)/1.35 Now putting mentioned values and checking so x=8,y=4,satisfies the above equation

Assumed the value of Orchids as O and Dahlias D,
1.35O+1.80D=18.
I actually went by the longer and stupider method of plugging values in for both at the same time.
But I did get the answer in the end as Orchids are equal to 8 and Dahlias are equal to 4.
