Hey guys.
I took the GMAT the second time tomorrow and received the same score again (700 q49 v37). I had a 700 (q47 v39) in my previous attempt too.
I belong to the Indian IT male community hence wanted to push my score to 730-740. I am targeting for 30 us b-schools with consulting as a post MBA target.
I am willing to take another shot at GMAT but scared if I get a 700 or lower again? That would look bad, right?
Should I apply with 700 in R1 maybe? I am targeting 2019 intake.

If you think you should go in for a third attempt, then do that!
You always have the option of cancelling your scores if you are not satisfied.
BTW, I would recommend you to get the ESR or the previous attempts to
understand which sections need improvement.
As for applying with a 700 in R1, it is a call that you would have to take
But considering the over-represented demographic you come from, I would
say push for a score in excess of 730(since you have the time to do it).

I also think you should defensively retake as you seem to be quite strong in both. Another bout of pushing yourself will definitely yield a stronger result! Stay Strong, mate !
