Hey roykabir772

If you think you should go in for a third attempt, then do that!
You always have the option of cancelling your scores if you are not satisfied.
BTW, I would recommend you to get the ESR or the previous attempts to
understand which sections need improvement.

As for applying with a 700 in R1, it is a call that you would have to take
But considering the over-represented demographic you come from, I would
say push for a score in excess of 730(since you have the time to do it).

Hope that helps you!
Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I have already ordered the ESR for my last attempt.

Regarding the retake, I am wondering that in case my score remains the same or even drops then what would the adcoms make out of this. Two consecutive cancellations after a 700 doesn't look good, I suppose. The way I see it I have the odds stacked against me.

Cheers,
Kabir

I also think you should defensively retake as you seem to be quite strong in both. Another bout of pushing yourself will definitely yield a stronger result! Stay Strong, mate !

Thanks a lot for those kind and encouraging words. I am trying to stay strong but also rational too. Being from the IT field, I tend to think of the negative cases more than the positives. [FACE WITH STUCK-OUT TONGUE AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES]

Hello Kabir,

I think you should continue with the retake and there’s no downside. The only harm is that you will lose 250 USD for the registration. You could always cancel your scores and these days adcoms dont get to see how many times you have cancelled the scores . Further there is a good chance that you will increase the scores . So continue your attempts and pre-decide what scores are acceptable and what scores are not .

Link for the cancelled score report is mentioned below

Thanks
