Nervousness sets in! I just logged into my application portal and noticed that the earlier waitlist letter is no longer available. I guess they will update the system with the updated decision in a few hours. Any body notice any other changes (eg. https://upenngsb.askadmissions.net/vip/Default.aspx )? I recall that R2 accepted folks had a checklist pop up on that page prior to decisions being made.

Maybe this Friday a few of us get off the list!! How many here are from R3 and how many left from R2 and R1? It would be good to have some stats if folks do not mind sharing Best of luck everyone

Also R2 waitlist. There were a lot carried over on to the "summer waitlist". The quantum seemed disproportionately high as there were about a dozen on this forum alone, but then perhaps waitlist candidates seek out advice on the forum more? I took the same view that some news might come out Friday 06 June. This is the deadline for R3 deposit payments I believe. I spoke to the Admissions Office recently and they indicated no-one had been taken from the waitlist yet, but from experience they expected to need to do so soon.

Got the call today! So Happy!! R2 applicant, was on summer waitlist. International, but working in US.

Well done! Great news. I'm still hopeful here, but realistically I can't imagine there will be a lot of movement on the list.

Has there been any further movement on the waitlist that anyone is aware of? How many are still holding on? With just over a month to go until pre-term it's getting pretty tight for international candidates. I think I can hold on a little bit longer, and luckily my work is being quite flexible, but I have already started on the alternatives.

FWIW, the deadline to register for pre-term is July 7th, so people can drop out until that date (or eat a 2nd deposit). Good luck to you all, I was stuck on the Wharton WL two years ago.
