What is 35% more than 300?

A. 405
B. 335
C. 265
D. 195
E. 105

10% of 300 = 30
20% of 300 = 60
30% of 300 = 90

Also, if 10% of 300 = 30, then 5% of 300 = 15

So, 35% of 300 = 90 + 15
= 105
So, 35% MORE THAN 300 = 300 + 105 = 405
