What is the sum of a certain pair of consecutive odd integers?
(1) At least one of the integers is negative.
(2) At least one of the integers is positive

(1) At least one of the integers is negative.

=> 1 or more integer is negative
e.g. -1 , 1 = -1 + 1 = 0
but if -3 + -1 = 4

Not sufficient

(2) At least one of the integers is positive

=> 1 or more positive

Again, -1 + 1 = 0
Also, 1 + 3 = 4

Hence not sufficient.

But combining them atleast 1 positive and 1 negative (and they have to be consecutive odd numbers) then only possibilities -1 and +1.

Thus answer is 0 i.e. C

(2) could be(1,3) sume is 4

Insuff CE
(1) & (2)
Has to be (-1,1) and sum is zero

Hence C
