Does anyone know if they'll release r3 candidates before May 22? I did not get an interview invite, so I assume I'm out, but I don't want to jump the gun with other schools before I hear back from Yale. Any insights?

I spoke to someone from Admissions today and asked them whether it's fair to assume that I'm out if I haven't gotten an interview invite and his response was that they are extending interview invites up until the decision release date and confirmed on their website that it is true..although with R3, I don't know whether this is still standard practice and they obviously weren't just going to tell me on the phone that "yeah you're out"...I'm a R3 applicant and one of my recommendation letters wasn't in until this past friday May 9th so I didn't have a complete application until then...interested to know if anyone has gotten/is still getting interview invites in the past few days

It's not over until it's over! I think especially in R3, decisions can come up to the very last minute -- only 1 more week to go & anything can still happen.

I think it went okay. It was pretty standard and mostly behavioral questions. Don't lose hope yet! There are still few days to decision! I think they waitlist candidates without interview as well? Good luck!

Hey everyone! Does anyone know if they call admitted students tomorrow for the Round 3 notification date? Or should we plan on just checking the online application at 5PM? Thanks so much!

I was waitlisted from R2 and as a watcher of this thread on the last notification date I know that admitted students were called, so a hopeful eye on my phone today...
