I personally communicated with admissions twice. The first was a job update in January and the second time was a couple weeks ago when they asked if I wanted to remain on the waitlist.
In addition to this, I attended one "Winter social" event in my local area and had 4 LOS written in support of my candidacy (2 SOM alumni, 1 SOM current student, 1 Yale current student).

I was fortunate to know a few students who go/went to SOM. Plus, I took the risk of indirectly being a squeaky wheel. I wasn't sure if it was going to pay out, but this time it did. Sorry to hear about the ding..
