I personally communicated with admissions twice. The first was a job update in January and the second time was a couple weeks ago when they asked if I wanted to remain on the waitlist.

In addition to this, I attended one "Winter social" event in my local area and had 4 LOS written in support of my candidacy (2 SOM alumni, 1 SOM current student, 1 Yale current student).

I was fortunate to know a few students who go/went to SOM. Plus, I took the risk of indirectly being a squeaky wheel. I wasn't sure if it was going to pay out, but this time it did. Sorry to hear about the ding..

did everyone on the WL get the email today asking to confirm interest? assuming its a mass email?

I didn't. Are they supposed to release decision today? It's been quite.
