750 Q49 V42 (Online)
Strengths:
1. Online question practice platform
2. The layout/design of course material - lecture videos intertwined with practice questions
3. Regular mentorship from GMAT Whiz mentors
Would make the product better:
There should be a better User Interface to review bookmarked questions. Currently they are all in one list. We should be able to club them together in sub groups.
I prepared with another institute before res-starting my prep with GMAT Whiz again.
My score on the first attempt was 690.
I started my preparation with GMAT Whiz in July/August 2022.
With three to four months of consistent preparation, I improved my score from 690 to 750.
The best things about GMAT Whiz that helped me improve were -
1. Quant section - They don’t focus on teaching a lot of shortcuts, unlike my previous course. The approach was logical and methodological. Their course modules include concept boosters and practice questions intertwined with videos; this aspect helps one learn and apply the concept simultaneously. Their online practice platform is perfect for improving speed by the level of questions and time constraints.
2. Verbal Section - Earlier, I had to learn lots of exceptions and arbitrary rules that felt very difficult to apply in sentence correction questions. I couldn’t build a specific thought procedure for critical reasoning questions. And both of these combined also led to lower accuracy rates in RC ques.
With Gmat whiz’s logical approach of breaking sentences at the right point to understand the meaning of SC questions and keeping grammar rules simple, I was able to build a sense of what is correct and what is not. Their CR methodology/frameworks are just remarkable. They put you on the right track and correct pre-thinking to get to the correct answer more accurately and quickly.
3. Another good thing was, they assign a mentor to each student. I used to have regular catchups with my mentor to discuss progress on the study plan, share any difficulties I was facing, and prepare strategies for the next steps (curated to my strengths and weaknesses).
The GMATWhiz course helped me in streamlining my preparation. With the techniques prescribed by the course I was able to improve both on accuracy and timing. For CR, after inculcating their technique of "Prethinking" I was fairly confident in solving CR questions. For RC, their passages do seem tough but nevertheless solving their RC passages prepares you well for the official GMAT exam. The quant course is elaborate and covers wide variety of quesions. Their collection of "Easy", "Medium" and "Hard" practice questions is quite extensive. Also, I found their mocks at par with official GMAT exams. To conclude , their course definitely helped me in improving my GMAT score.

740 Q51 V38 (Online)
This is Akash. I scored a 740 (Q51 V38) on the GMAT with the help structured preparation from GMATwhiz.
After getting a 680 on my GMAT, I knew I had to work on my approach to solve the questions and also fine tune the concepts. That's when I came across GMATwhiz and after taking a call with Piyush I subscribed to its 2 month plan. I really liked how the AI gauged my abilities and helped me work on my weak areas in an efficient manner. The meaning based approach helped me reach 90% accuracy in SC. The 3 step GMATwhiz process used to solve CR and RC really helped me improve my verbal score by a massive 7 point. Again the AI powered quiz platform with its pinpoint accuracy helped me work only on concerned areas in Quant and accelerated me to a Q51.
Apart from this, the mentor support from GMATwhiz is amazing. Saquib analyzed my attempts really well and gave me accurate areas to work on. Maintaining an error log for RC helped improve my accuracy a lot.
Another thing that really impressed me about GMATwhiz was its mocks. The mocks predicted my score with an accuracy of 10 points. Even the adaptive platform that GMATwhiz uses guessed my score in the range of 730-750, which reflected in the actual GMAT.
The quality of questions in the whizquiz platform is another impressive feature. The questions prepare us well enough to easily handle the 700+ questions in the real GMAT, especially in RC. The analysis provided by GMATwhiz for each question does a pretty good job too. It not only explains why the answer is right but also explains why other options are wrong.
So, I can definitely say GMATwhiz is a perfect blend of AI and mentorship that guides you in the right path to achieve your dream GMAT score. I would recommend it to everyone aiming 700+.

760 Q51 V41 (Online)
I started my prep at V31, and I struggled with Sentence Correction a lot. The meaning-based approach to Sentence Correction has really changed the game for me. I improved to a V41 and more importantly 98th Percentile in Sentence Correction. The mentorship that I got from experts is the best part. My mentor assessed my performance and gave me personalized insights. When my scores plateaued and I was wondering where to look, the advice from the mentor really helped. She even gave me last-minute tips and resources! I connected with Piyush post my attempt and he gave me a clear game plan after looking at my ESRs. I will be taking another shot at GMAT. I will keep you guys posted on the outcome! Hoping to reach 750. :)
If you are looking for a GMAT course that has it all, Don't look beyond GMATWhiz! I had my reservations while I was signing up but after going through their course, interacting with mentors, and looking at the outcome, I'm 100% confident to recommend this to anyone looking for the best scores on their GMAT!!
Initially I was using free resources and various question banks in order to prepare by myself for the GMAT. Since I am a working professional, I never felt tutoring the right way to go in order to keep a flexible schedule. When I hit a hard plateau at 690 with a V35 (inspite of solving most OG, Verbal, and Manhattan problems), I started searching for alternative approaches when I came across GMATWhiz course through Piyush's webinar on verbal.
With hardly 10 days to the next GMAT exam, I must say that GMATWhiz Verbal Course completely changed my approach to solving problems. Their video lessons for verbal are tooo good! They have really drilled into concepts and put the effort to identify the subtle pain points that students would face while solving. I was surprised when some of my issues (which I used to dismissing as reading error or inconsequential ones) were literally explained to the point in the video.
Right from their first verbal video, I understood that buying the verbal course along with Sunita ma'am's 1-1 sessions was an incredible decision. I finally scored a 710 (Q49, V38) which is huge, considering the plateau I was stuck at and the constricted timeframe available before the GMAT.
I was studying for GMAT through GMAT club but I was lacking confidence in many sections of verbal and some parts of quant.
Then I found about GMAT WHIZ while watching one of the rc solving strategy session on YouTube.
I searched more about it and it's ai based module fascinated me a lot.
I joined the 4 month program in May and the structure was so smooth that it just guided me when and what to do.
It highlighted the sections in which I need to focus more and concept booster questions helped to in solidifying my concepts.
Mocks provided were totally upto GMAT standard and ESR analysis helped me in identifying my weak points.
Tracking of studying hours on daily and weekly basis with AI helped me a lot as it gets very difficult to monitor your progress along with a hectic job schedule.
The mentor provided to me helped me in identifying the loop holes and helped me in all possible ways to increase my score.
The quality of both verbal and quant section is top notch and it completes all sections in an efficient manner.
The course structure helped me to increase my score by 80 points from my initial mock score. It developed the confidence in me which I was lacking the most in beginning.
With the exceptional course structure and guidence, I was able to get 660 in my first attempt. I could have gotten more if quant section which was my stronger part did not went bad that day.
Since I have a strong work profile, this was a good score for me and helped me in getting considered in some of the best colleges across European countries.
One can totally trust GMAT WHIZ platform for cracking GMAT and GMAT WHIZ can surely help you get your dream 700+ score.
Hi Everyone,
I started my GMAT prep journey in Oct, 2021. First 2 months, I did some self-prep from the official guides. After solving the guides, I felt that I was at a stage where although I was able to get some easy or medium questions correct, I was not confident on most of the harder difficulty questions of verbal and hence was getting those questions wrong.
At that point, I decided to go through one of the renowned GMAT-Prep courses. After going through that course, I was a bit more confident on my grammar for SCs, but still I felt that I was not able to solve confidently verbal questions of higher difficulties. Most often than not, I was stuck in between two option choices. Hence, my mock scores were also fluctuating. To work upon and resolve this, I decided to go for another renowned GMAT-Prep course, thinking that this new course might help me to bring my Verbal prep on track. After completing the second course, I was confident enough to book a date for the exam. Scored a 660 (V28, Q50). I somehow knew while attempting the exam that my verbal section has not gone as per my expectation. Appearing the exam, I felt that I am not following a process and going wrong in some way. After some research, I decided that this time around I need someone who will point out my mistake during my prep and who can guide me as to where I was faltering in the verbal section.
Finally, I booked a consultation call with Piyush and decided to go with GMAT Whiz. Already I had attended a seminar of GMAT Whiz by that time. In Sept, 2022, I signed up for the GMAT Whiz Verbal Tutor prep course and started working with Sunita Ma’am. In the very first class I attended, I knew that I had made the right choice as I was able to get where I was faltering. The process that I was not following before was the root cause. Over the next 1 month, we worked hard to unlearn and relearn the question solving process. In every session, she kept pushing me to follow the structure and process to solve the different types of questions. After completing the course, I attempted a couple of mocks and appeared for my 2nd official GMAT attempt. This time, I scored 700 (V35, Q49) – a 40-points improvement in 50 days.
I cannot emphasize the contribution and role played by Sunita Ma’am in these 40 points improvements and from a V28 to V35. Thank you, Ma’am, for bearing with my silly questions. It was a short but memorable journey of learning with you 😊
My experience with GMAT is that the structure (to solve questions) is very important in GMAT. If you don’t have a structure or a process to follow for attempting various types of questions, the official exam will make a mockery out of you (which I myself felt in my first attempt and that too after almost 11 months of preparation). Preparing by solving lots of questions won’t help you much, if you haven’t already learned the standard structure and process to attempt questions. First, learn the process and the skills, then go for solving questions, applying the process and your skills in each and every question. Then only in the actual exam, under the exam stress and time pressure, you will be able to follow the process and arrive at the correct answers.
I had enrolled in GMATWHIZ in the last week of november,2021.I had read good reviews of the course prior to enrollment, so I went with the course. The mentorship provided to me was top notch.Zartaj and saquib were there to assist and guide me in every step. The inbuilt AI engine helped in structuring the study plan to optimize my study time and to pin-point any weakness.
Both the verbal and quant courses are exceptional. The content of GMATWhiz is comprehensive and addresses each GMAT-based question independently in each module of verbal and quant. In verbal, the method on intended meaning and breaking down a sentence really helped me in my SC section.
I would highly recommend this course to any diligent aspirant willing to ace the gmat.
For me the best feature of the GMATWhiz product was its diagnostic quizzes at the beginning of every module. These diagnostics ensured that I didn’t waste time on areas in which I didn’t need much guidance and hence could utilize my time to get the maximum bang out of my buck.
I must also mention that initially I was too concerned with RC and was sure that I needed to focus on RC to improve my Verbal. However, Piyush suggested me to follow the natural sequence of the course – i.e. first SC, then CR and finally RC. I followed his advice and stuck to the personalized study plan. What I noticed was that my SC and CR foundation was lacking in the first place and GMATWhiz’s learning material definitely helped cement these two areas for me. Post that once I moved on to RC, I no longer felt RC to be a weakness for me.
Finally, the mentorship program was helpful because Saquib and Shreyyash gave me very specific to-dos and laid out the next steps in a well-planned way which definitely helped me improve on my relatively weaker areas. I wish I had taken up their mentorship in my previous attempts as well.
I have a very hectic schedule since I run a startup. GMATWhiz’s platform was a great fit since it gave me clear guidelines along two areas –
A – Personalized feedback to customize the course as per my skill level. They have diagnostic quizzes for every module based on which the learning material adapts itself to give you the maximum benefit in the least amount of time. You can also override the diagnostic changes made according to your judgement.
B – The program designed a study plan which kept me accountable and set weekly targets for me. As a result, it was easy to visualize the timeline required for me to get close to my target score. This study plan was customizable as per my availability and adapted according to my changing skill level.
Another feature of the offering I found really helpful was its one to one mentorship. My concerns during the progress were addressed timely. It boosted my confidence whenever there were inconsistencies in my performance. A structured quizzing plan, with multiple quiz formats, was formulated and it was instrumental in getting me exam ready. Additionally, the mentor suggested some additional resources meant to uniquely address my weak areas.
Very inspiring. All the best for application.
