Great course! GMATWhiz helped me break free of a score plateau by providing really personalised support. From Day 1, I was assigned a mentor to help me plan and guide my end-to-end preparation. Shreyyash was extremely helpful and always gave me honest and genuine advice. Where necessary, he was candid and encouraging and never failed to push me to achieve my true potential.

GMATWhiz especially prides itself on its Verbal course, and I can vouch for the quality of its course. Quality of CR and SC videos are amazing, and while the RC questions are harder than official questions, the RC course helps you develop a strong foundation to tackle 700+ level questions on the exam. I also took a couple of tutoring sessions with Sunita ma'am, who was able to help me identify my problem areas quickly and worked through remediation plans with me during the session to help me plug my gaps. I cannot thank her enough!

For those wanting to get a sense of GMATWhiz's quality, look no further than their recorded webinars on their YouTube channel.

It was after 4 failed attempts and 2 years of non stop preparation that i reached out to GMATWhiz. At that time i was stuck in a mid 600 score plateau and irrespective of how much effort i've put, I couldn't improve my score at all.
GMATWhiz actually helped me reach the 700+ score. I really liked the way their course is structured. The inbuilt AI engine helps in planning the study schedule and all we have to do is, just follow it. Another important feature of GMATWhiz is the score predictor (it is pretty much accurate) which actually starts predicting our score soon after we complete a couple of modules. Because of this feature, we know how much more effort we need to put to improve.
The support i've got from GMATWhiz is immense. I had tried a couple of test prep companies and non had provided me the kind of support that GMATWhiz has. Sunita Ma'am (Verbal tutor) not just made me understand the concepts thoroughly but also gave me the moral support during times when i used to feel low.
To be honest, the GMATWhiz team is as motivated as you to help you reach your dream score. Sharing from my personal experience, the GMATWhiz team has gone beyond their course offering to help me reach my dream score.
Finally i would highly recommend GMATWhiz for all those who are preparing for the GMAT.

GMATWhiz’s AI powered study plan made it seamless to cover the concepts during my initial learning days. The AI also made regular suggestions to take specific quizzes for conceptual or timing improvement. This ensured that all relatively weak areas were fine-tuned. The course video lessons themselves covered the concepts well fundamentally without overcomplicating the learning at any point.
Other than their AI powered course material, GMATWhiz’s mentorship program was particularly helpful for me throughout my prep. Zartaj, my Quant mentor, helped me strategize the prep during the learning phase with inputs on which topics to revise, which sources to practice questions from and when to focus on time management. As I fine-tuned my prep with Zartaj and moved closer to taking mocks, Shreyyash, the Verbal mentor drew up a calendarized plan for me for the mock phase which included the dates for taking the mocks and for a variety of quizzes across Quant and Verbal meant to continuously fine-tune my performance in between two mocks. Shreyyash also helped me approach RC better by reading the passage more actively and my RC performance improved considerably since then.
Finally, GMATWhiz was very proactive with its resources. The mentors provided me with a bank of official questions (other than the OG) which I was instructed to use before practicing from their proprietary question bank called Whiz Quiz. This was again really well planned – while the official question bank helped me apply the concepts I learnt from the video lessons, the Whiz Quiz was a useful fine-tuning tool as it allowed me to test myself on specific topics that needed further work.
I’ll be retaking the exam once more and using GMAT Whiz tutoring to improve my Q score further.

After months of preparation using different platforms, I was just able to cross the 700 barrier and get a score of 710. Though 710 is a decent score, coming from an Indian Male Engineer background, I knew this score was not enough for a good B-School.

Then I stumbled upon a video from GMATWhiz on Verb Tense timeline. I was previously having problems in this particular section of SC, so I decided to watch the video. I was amazed at how easily GMATWhiz’s content managed to solve my problems with verb tense usage. I felt more confident in tackling this sub-section now. It was then that I decided to book a strategy session with GMATWhiz’s strategy expert. I had an awesome discussion with Piyush who helped me understand GMAT more thoroughly and chalked out a plan to address my GMAT weak areas. I decide to go forward with GMATWhiz and started working on the plan the AI had laid out.

My stint with GMATWhiz was relatively small (less than 2 months) but I want to highlight how awesome the whole AI-driven platform is. It kept updating a predicted score based on my course progression and Quiz score, went deep into analyzing my weak areas, and automatically created quizzes and study content to help me address those areas. I was able to precisely target the areas I was having the most trouble with and could successfully improve as well. It saves you all the trouble of pinpointing your weak areas and then creating a quiz addressing them. These help you to apply the approach learned in the course, making you comfortable with the application of the methodology to solve the questions.

The content of GMATWhiz is comprehensive and addresses each GMAT-based question independently. I was facing issues with CR specifically before joining GMATWhiz course but I was able to improve it drastically using their course content. After each concept video, you have concept booster and concept solidifier quizzes that help to cement the process you have just learned.

From the very beginning, I was assigned with a Mentor, Zartaj who deserves most of the credit for my GMAT success. She helped me overcome my plateau and kept motivating me throughout the journey. After her guidance, I was soon scoring more consistently on each practice quiz. Although I was hitting my sub-section goals consistently, to further increase the chances of getting achieving a high score, I was introduced to Sunita from GMATWhiz who took out her valuable time to tutor me and fine-tune my approach to reach that upper echelon score. I finally managed to score 740(Q50, V40) on GMAT.

All in all, my experience with GMATWhiz has been nothing short of amazing. So, whether you are a first-time test taker, or a retaker struggling to overcome a score plateau, GMATWhiz is a one-stop solution for you. Highly recommend!

I am so glad that I chose GmatWhiz to prepare for my Gmat Exam. I only had a limited amount of time to study and we really made the most of it. My tutor Shreyyash helped me a ton especially with my time management.
I also received a personal offer since none of the AI learning personalized plans really fit my situation. This way, I didnt have to pay full rate while still being able to access the full course. In the end, I was able to get the score I needed for my Uni application thanks to GmatWhiz!

Course GMATWhiz 5-Hour Tutoring Package

Hello Everyone,
This is my first review in GMATCLUB forum and I am happy to share my GMAT experience with all of you. When I made up my mind to go for an MBA abroad, I knew the first step for me is to clear GMAT with a healthy score. I started by taking the first mock test available in mba.com to understand where I stand and what should I target first. After the test, I realized that I had a strong hold in quants but not in verbal. I started self preparation by using available free courses in the internet (whatever I could lay my hands on). After 3 months, when I appeared for the second mock test, I scored a 610. I understood that I needed a detailed and structured plan to ace the GMAT. Although I knew my strengths and weaknesses, I was still unable to come up with a structure by myself and that's when I started looking for tutorials and courses dedicated for GMAT. Before GMATWHIZ, I already had taken E-GMAT course plan. E-GMAT has a very strong quant course structure but my verbal aptitude was not improving much. What I needed was a real tutor and not an AI who can analyze my thought process and understand where I am going wrong. That's when I took up GMATWHIZ tutoring package for verbal aptitude where I got connected with Ms. Sunita Singhvi. I was elated when I found out that I would be directly working with the verbal expert of GMATWHIZ! As I started the first session with her, she gave me an SC question to solve (pretty standard right?). But here is the twist! She asked me to say everything out loud- how I am reading the statement, how am I figuring out the errors, how am I rejecting the answer choices! Basically she knew exactly what was going on in my mind when I was solving the question. And I think that is what I had been searching the whole time. Sunita ma'am is one of the most patient teachers I have met in my life. She would point out the errors that I made while solving, but she would also appreciate what I did right. That was the motivation and confidence I required to solve a question, knowing that I was not all wrong and I knew what I had to do. She followed the same approach for each of the SC, RC and CR sections, and with every session, I felt my confidence building up. Ms. Sunita made herself available all the time and I was free to ping her (directly in her WhatsApp No.) with any doubts I had on any verbal topic.
Overall, my experience has been nothing short of amazing and I would highly recommend GMATWHIZ to anyone who is looking for a personalized study preparation and not a generic one!
P.S: I am very happy that GMATWHIZ connected me to Sunita Ma'am, as she has become one of my favorite persons I know.

GMATWhiz Verbal Tutor Prep

Hey Everyone.
I started my GMAT preparation in April 2021 with the help of external resources and GMAT Club Forum. I tried to solve as many questions as possible because I believed that exposure to a varied range of questions would benefit me to ace the exam. Feeling confident, I went for the exam in Nov 2021 and scored a 690(Q50, V32). It was a dismal performance from my perspective because I had devoted most of my time to prepare for Verbal.
So, I decided to go for the GMATWhiz Verbal Tutor Prep. My first session with Ms. Sunita Singhvi was basically an eye opener for me as we discussed meticulously the loopholes in my understanding and my areas of weakness. From then onwards, we chose to go for a step by step methodical approach that would involve basic things such as - Basic Sentence structure, accrued reading and deep level of understanding of the context.
The most important thing that i realised during my sessions was that : "Meaning is the key to acing the Verbal". If one gets to the deepest level of understanding of any given concept, half of the question is solved there itself. It was a major boosting point in my preparation. With regular interactive sessions and feedback, it was an absolutely smooth and enriching experience of gaining knowledge on the Verbal. I am indebted to Sunita Ma'am for always responding promptly to my countless trivial questions and pings without even the slightest of fuss. Truly humbled.
Finally I gave my next attempt in May 2022 and scored a 710(Q50,V37).

I can say that a Verbal score improvement of 5 points may not seem much of an improvement to a normal guy, but only a true GMAT aspirant will be able to acknowledge the effort and the thoroughness  required to increase the score even by 1 point.

A shout out to GMATWhiz and Ms. Sunita Singhvi for all the support and feedback.
Heartfelt Thanks and Gratitude.

Good Value, Great Content and Structure

I subscribed to the GMATWhiz verbal tutor prep + access to the quant section (which was the promo then).

I started my GMAT journey back in mid 2020. I knew I was weak in verbal and so I decided to buy a course from another leading provider. Despite hours of studying and prep, I found myself scoring a 640 on my first attempt. This was far from my goal and my true potential. I decided that I needed a tutor to help me in my verbal prep.

[VERBAL SECTION] Upon using GMATWhiz, I found that it provided a good structure in acing the verbal section. The method on intended meaning and breaking down a sentence really helped me in my SC section. Having a tutor also helped in building my confidence in the verbal section. I also learnt how to make use of the free tools available on GMATClub for my prep.

[QUANT SECTION] I started my quant section rather late and took only 2 weeks to prepare for it. On hindsight, 2 weeks is too short a time for prep and I do not recommend it for anyone. Going through the quant content in GMATWhiz, I found that there were many advanced concepts, tips, and tricks, which I was not aware of. Compared to the content in the other provider which I had subscribed to, the content in GMATWhiz is much more detailed.

Overall, I highly recommend GMATWhiz to anyone interested in acing the GMAT. I scored a 710 (V38Q49) on my second attempt.

Hi Everyone,
I want to post my experience of the long and tedious GMAT journey, the mistakes I made and what worked for me that might work for you as well. I will keep it very short and focus on the key points in the journey.
This one is for the ones who have to go through re-attempts to get to their target score. Here goes.
First attempt:
I started preparing for the GMAT in December 2020. And took the GMAT online in July-2021. The result: 640 (V29, Q48). I did some self-prep from Manhattan Guides, Veritas prep videos, and other sources.

Second Attempt:
I signed up with a well-known prep company and attempted the in-person GMAT on Dec-21. The result: 640 (V32, Q47). Clearly, Verbal was the issue.

Third Attempt:
I did some online research and finally decided to go with GMAT Whiz after talking to Piyush. During the call, Piyush and I went through my ESR from the previous attempt and he walked me through the common challenges faced by candidates with a score such as mine. I signed up for the GMAT Whiz Verbal Tutor prep course and started working with Sunita for my Verbal prep in Jan-22. Over the course of the next 3 months, we worked hard to re-wire my GMAT brain and bring me on the right track. The tool and techniques taught during the course coupled with the standardized approach and an adaptive platform were the game-changer. I finally took my 3rd attempt in Apr-22 and scored 710 (V40, Q46). Disclosure: I barely studied for Quant because of my hectic schedule, but I was pretty happy with the Verbal score. (I scored V40 and V41 on official GMAT mock tests).

So what worked for me on the 3rd attempt?
1. The standardized approach to learning, which is a key focus of the GMAT Whiz course. It not only teaches you the right approach but also hard wires you to follow the approach during the time pressure situation of the test.
2. The mentorship. I cannot emphasize enough the contribution of an expert, who does so much to set you in the right direction. I found Sunita’s approach to be very effective and efficient.
In conclusion,
To anyone reading this review and hoping to achieve a great GMAT score, I would recommend going with GMAT Whiz. Self-prep can only take you so far if you are not familiar with the material tested on the GMAT. Working with an expert will be much more efficient and I do not think that any other course offers such great value when it comes to 1-on-1 tutoring.

I am a working professional with 7 yrs+ work ex. and have been away from academics for a long time. Also, I have never given a competitive exam before. My work keeps me fairly busy, and I was looking for a prep provider which laid out a neat and easy to follow plan, and helped me build my skills from scratch.

I stumbled upon GMATWhiz by chance on a GMAT club forum and decided to check out their free modules. It looked good. I decided to sign up when I saw some rave reviews on GMAT Club. I can tell you now that those reviews were spot on.

Now about the Course:

At the onset of the prep, the platform tries to understand your availability and timelines, and creates a neat plan to follow. The course is very well structured to begin with. There is a deep focus on mastering fundamental concepts before jumping into the "700" questions, and I can tell you that this is the only way to score a 700+ in GMAT. The GMAT Whiz platform also uses AI and smart logics to identify your weak areas on an ongoing basis and keeps customizing the program for you.

The quant section was exceptional, and for anyone looking to get the basics right, the quant videos are just the best (The instructor - Saquib has a command over the concepts and an ability to eloquently explain like few other). The Verbal section was also very smartly designed and the focus was to get the broad contours of problems right instead of becoming masters of grammar - you soon realize you can never do that anyways and its not really what GMAT is looking for!

However, what really stood out for me was the personal attention the team was willing to dedicate. GMAT Whiz assigns you a mentor at onset of the course who will connect with you frequently to assess your progress. My mentor spent some serious time reviewing my work, identifying problem areas, and generally calming my nerves. I can't emphasize enough how critical this can be between a 680 and a 720.

I literally did not have the time or the desire to use any other tools or material, apart from referring to GMAT Club Quant questions. I strongly recommend this course for anyone looking to do a 0 to 1 journey with their GMAT. Feel free to ping me if you still have doubts :)
