Thank You For Really Seeing Me Jen

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I decided to pursue my MBA this year after realizing it was undeniably necessary in order for me to achieve my career goals that began to feel further and further out of reach. I was still in my program exploration phase when I met Jen and new to the process, I was grateful to have met Jen via mbaMission when I did. As a woman of color, it was important to me to find a coach I believed I could connect with. A coach that didn’t make me feel like a burden or just another number and who took the time to see and understand me as an individual. From our first conversation it was undeniable that Jen was the absolute best fit for me. I am naturally an excited and driven person, imagine the joy I felt when my excitement and enthusiasm was met by Jen’s?! She is a phenomenal coach with a wealth of knowledge concerning the MBA process and programs. She is extremely skilled and helped me lock in on my story, painting a picture of who I am on paper for the reader. With her expertise coaching, I applied to my dream program with confidence and was extremely grateful to have been admitted to UVA Darden, starting August 2025.

I got into my dream school and I truly can’t thank Jen enough!

I met Jen for the first time through a "ding review" a couple of years ago, when I had applied and didn't get in, and I was feeling pretty dejected. But Jen’s thoughtful feedback helped me understand the weaknesses in my application while giving me confidence that I had a strong foundation to build on. From that moment, her guidance was instrumental in every step of my journey.

One of the most impactful parts of working with Jen was our brainstorming calls. She helped me reflect deeply—on my childhood, how I grew up, the choices I made, and the values that matter most to me. These conversations gave me a rock-solid foundation for all my application and ensured that my story was deeply personal and compelling.

Her feedback on my essay was especially invaluable. Given how unique this school's essay prompt is, I had been thinking about it for months before I even started writing. It required intense self-reflection to articulate what truly matters most to me and why. Jen kept pushing me—gently but persistently—until my voice came through clearly and authentically. That process made all the difference.

When it came time for interviews, Jen’s mock interview sessions were a game-changer. She covered a wide range of questions, challenged me to think on my feet, and helped me get a feel for how the real interview would go. She pointed out key areas to prepare for but also ensured I didn’t over-prepare. You want to be authentic and conversational in the interview. Thanks to her, I walked into my interview with confidence and clarity.

Jen’s ability to guide while ensuring I stayed true to myself was remarkable. What sets Jen apart is her ability to nudge you in the right direction without ever making the process feel forced or unnatural. She helped me tell my story in a way that felt genuine, compelling, and true to who I am. Her feedback was always precise, insightful, and—above all—and I could feel how much she truly cared. It was clear that she was just as invested in my success as I was. If you’re looking for an MBA consultant who will help you craft the best possible application without losing your authenticity, I can’t recommend Jen highly enough.

Jen helped me get into my first choice school!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Jen helped me get an offer from my first choice school! It was very late in the year when I attended the school's open day, which cemented my desire to apply for an MBA. At the event I met a student ambassador, who suggested I reach out to Jen - The second deadline was only a month away and Jen helped me get a winning application together in an incredibly short amount of time! I had been back-packing for the last 2 years with a significant gap in my CV, which added some risk to my application, but Jen was great at helping me formulate a strong narrative throughout the brainstorming process and calls. The support with essays, short questions and interview prep was invaluable. My GMAT score was below the average for the intake and I was rejected from my 4th choice school, an application I did on my own, which really illustrates the value Jen brings to the table. I highly recommend Jen to anyone applying for an MBA.

Jen made the MBA application experience seamless

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Jen was incredibly generous with her time and feedback throughout the process. I didn't appreciate how nuanced the MBA application was until I started. While I do believe that you do not need a consultant to submit a successful MBA application, there were several instances where the direction of my essays and overall story drastically changed due to Jen's feedback (and I was ultimately accepted to my top choice, so I do think she provided tangible value here!). Jen was incredibly prompt with her responses and reliable. Whenever she did not know the answer, she always referred me to the right resources and followed up after researching further on her end. The MBA application is a challenging experience in terms of time, opportunity cost, and external pressures, and having Jen as both an advisor and a second set of eyes was reassuring. In addition, I recognize that it is not always easy to provide direct responses in a process as nuanced as the MBA application!

Jen Made My MBA Dreams a Reality

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

When I started the MBA application process, I had no idea how complex and time-consuming it would be. As a non-traditional applicant, I knew I needed to tie my story together and clearly articulate my post-MBA career goals. After doing extensive research on whether hiring a consultant was worth the investment and speaking with several top-rated consultants from Poets & Quants, I was initially hesitant. Consultants are expensive, and I wasn’t sure I’d get a strong return on investment. But from the moment I met Jen, all my doubts disappeared—I knew she was the right person to guide me through this journey.

I lacked confidence in my credentials, but Jen reaffirmed that I was a strong candidate. She helped me identify and highlight the unique elements of my story that made me stand out. Her guidance was invaluable, and she was always available to answer my (many) questions. Unlike some of my friends’ experiences with other consultants, who were unresponsive or slow to provide feedback, Jen was incredibly responsive and consistently delivered thoughtful feedback on my essays and application materials well before deadlines.

Jen’s support extended beyond essay editing. When I didn’t achieve my target GMAT score on my first attempt, she encouraged me to persevere and consider switching to the GRE. That encouragement was pivotal—I don’t think I could have overcome those challenges without her unwavering support.

What sets Jen apart is her human touch. She didn’t just see me as another applicant but as a unique individual, and she truly cared about my success and future. Her expertise in narrowing down my school list, refining my story, and navigating the application process was unparalleled.

The results speak for themselves. I applied to three schools (Haas, Ross, and Darden) and was admitted to all three, with scholarships ranging from $70,000 to $120,000. Jen was worth every penny, and I cannot recommend her enough. If you’re considering an MBA admissions consultant, you’ll be in the best hands with Jen!

Jen is the Best!!! Thank you Jen!!!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by gmat club tests [?]

With Jen’s strong support and guidance, I was accepted into my dream business school programs (Wharton, Anderson)!! I knew very little coming into the MBA application process and Jen was especially impactful in determining my target business schools, strategizing on my applications, crafting my personal statements, selecting my recommenders, and closely reviewing my applications in a short timeline - she really did it all and was a joy to work with! Jen was great to brainstorm with, came highly prepared, and provided strong feedback and insights in all our meetings which helped me write personal statements that I felt truly reflected my personality, background, and career ambitions. Prior to working with Jen, I found the application process incredibly daunting (especially since I was taking the GMAT and working at the same time) and she was able to help coach me through the process and keep me on track so I was always focused on the most important areas. In addition to her strong expertise, Jen’s positivity and supportiveness really made the difference - from taking multiple calls prior to my TBD interview for Wharton to taking early morning calls right before the application deadline, Jen truly went the extra mile to help me accomplish my goal. I highly recommend Jen and am very fortunate to have worked with her. Thank you Jen!!!

Highly Recommend Jen for European Programs!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

My dream was to attend a full-time MBA program abroad, but I knew it would be a steep uphill climb. With no international living experience and what most would consider ‘average’ test scores and GPA, I realized that effectively crafting and communicating my story and motivations would be critical to strengthening my profile.
Thankfully, I reached out to MBAmission and was referred to Jen, an expert in European MBA program admissions. The main areas I worked on with Jen were developing my essays and resume, navigating the application process, and preparing for interviews.
Jen is a thoughtful and thorough consultant who positioned me for success. She is an extremely talented essay editor who understands exactly what admissions committees seek in personal statements. Jen provided school-specific insights that I wouldn't have discovered on my own and advised me on how to effectively weave them into my essays.
Additionally, she was instrumental in interview preparation, helping me frame my stories and prioritize what each school values, all while delivering candid feedback in an uplifting manner. She tailored this preparation to whether I was interviewing with an alumn or an admissions advisor, and I can honestly say that our mock interviews were incredibly reflective of the real experience.

I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Without her assistance with the essays and interview prep, I am certain I would not have been accepted to INSEAD, the school I will be attending. Jen was very supportive and responsive throughout the entire process, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get into their stretch program!

Thank you, Jen! LBS, OXFORD, CAMBRIDGE!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I started working with Jen on mock interviews after being invited to interview for LBS, Oxford and Cambridge. Her knowledge and experience with European MBAs were beyond helpful and put me at ease when I was so nervous! Everything we discussed during our mock interviews happened during my actual interviews, so it was a huge relief to be prepared. Jen is also the sweetest person, and she'll give you the best feedback based on your personality and profile, so it really helped me bring the stories from my application to life during the interviews. I'm happy to say I got into all three schools! Thank you, Jen!

Jen is the Best!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

When I began working with Jen, I knew very little about the MBA application process. Jen was patient and thorough, and I felt comfortable going to her with any questions I had. She helped to keep me organized and on schedule to submit 7 R1 applications. Jen made herself available to me whether it was answering a quick email or scheduling a last minute call. While she reviewed my resume and every application and essay, she provided feedback and comments that helped keep my submission individualized. Ultimately, I was accepted to multiple reach schools and offered generous scholarships to many programs. I would highly recommend Jen as your MBA admissions consultant!

Excellent consultant, highly recommend

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I loved working with Jen! When I began the MBA admissions process, I knew next to nothing about it. Jen did an excellent job guiding me through the process, and throughout my time working with her, she was kind, thoughtful, and detail oriented. She did a great job helping me to identify my strengths and weaknesses, and to present my story in the clearest way possible. Also, she was always available to answer any questions I had about any aspect of the process. My applications wouldn't have been nearly as strong without her help--thanks to her, I was accepted to one of my target schools. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering applying to MBA programs.
