Nisha Trivedi Reviews

Company: mbaMission

Nisha Trivedi earned her BA in communication from the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. A deep interest in understanding the consumer inspired her to initially pursue a career in marketing research, and after college, she held positions at Time Inc., Rosetta, and KPMG LLP in New York City. A desire to transition into brand management led Nisha to Ross, where she was an active member of the Marketing Club, organizing mock internship interviews for her peers during her first year and serving as the club’s vice-president of communications during her second year. After graduating with her MBA, Nisha worked for several years in brand management in San Francisco at Big Heart Pet Brands (now part of The J.M. Smucker Company) before joining mbaMission. She most enjoys creating brand positioning and crafting tailored messaging that speaks to consumers’ needs, which is a skill she applies in helping her clients “market” themselves to their dream MBA programs. Nisha also has a longstanding commitment to philanthropy—she has been a volunteer team leader for New York Cares and now sits on the board of directors of The Shanti Project, a San Francisco–based nonprofit that enhances the health, quality of life, and well-being of people with serious illnesses.

Excellent Experience

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by gmat club tests [?]

Before I found Nisha, I had met with several other admissions consultants from other companies, and I left each meeting feeling discouraged. The feedback was either too general to apply to my specific circumstances or so it was so negative that it made me anxiously second-guess everything. Nisha manages to balance honest and constructive feedback with a positive and supportive attitude that made me feel confident about my career goals and how I expressed them in my applications. There were instances where we needed to scrap essay ideas and start from scratch, and Nisha helped me brainstorm ideas, combining my personal input with her expertise to land on essay topics that we both felt good about. The advice I received was honest, actionable, and personalized to my specific story and goals. In the end, I secured acceptances to 3 of the 4 T10 schools I applied to in Round 1, with some generous scholarship offers from a couple as well. Very happy with how everything worked out and I can't recommend Nisha and MBAmission enough!

Reapplicant - Best choice

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I was admitted to Chicago Booth, Yale SOM, NYU Stern, and Michigan Ross - all schools I genuinely wanted to attend. Last year I had a very different experience, and going into this cycle as an international applicant, my confidence was not high. Nisha helped me rebuild that from the ground up.
She supported me through every step - school selection, resume, essays, and interview prep. The mbaMission resources were also particularly helpful during interview preparation. The interview preparation was especially valuable. Nisha conducted mock interviews tailored to each school, and many of the questions she asked came up in my actual interviews. Having school-specific preparation made a real difference in how confident I felt walking in. What I appreciated most was how current and practical her advice was. It made the whole journey feel much less daunting.
I have already recommended Nisha to fellow prospective applicants in Korea, and I would do so again without hesitation. Working with her was both productive and genuinely enjoyable. Thank you, Nisha!

I worked with Nisha as my MBA consultant, and she had a meaningful impact on my application journey. From the start, she brought a clear, strategic approach while still making the process feel personal and reflective. She consistently pushed me to go deeper, helping me move beyond surface-level answers and really articulate my story in a way that felt authentic and compelling.

Her feedback was always thoughtful, direct, and actionable, and she struck the perfect balance between guiding me and letting my own voice come through. She was also incredibly organized and responsive, which made a stressful process feel much more manageable.

I’m really grateful for her support throughout this journey. I was ultimately admitted to Stanford Graduate School of Business, and she played a meaningful role in helping me get there. I would highly recommend her to anyone applying to business school.

Nisha Trivedi got me into Sloan & Kellogg!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Working with Nisha Trivedi was an incredibly personalized and impactful experience. She pushed me to gain real clarity on my strengths and, more importantly, my “why,” asking deeply introspective questions that helped uncover a story that was truly unique and authentic to me.

She has an exceptional work ethic and consistently delivered quick turnarounds without ever compromising on quality, which helped me stay on track throughout a demanding process. I also started relatively late in the MBA application cycle, and together we thoughtfully mapped out multiple contingency plans. Ultimately, we were able to pursue our Plan A—and I was admitted to both Kellogg’s MMM program and MIT Sloan’s MBA.

She is generous with her time, provides highly tactical and actionable feedback, and sets a clear, well-paced timeline that makes managing multiple applications feel structured and manageable. I couldn’t recommend her more highly to anyone looking for thoughtful, rigorous, and genuinely personalized MBA application support.

Nisha is incredibly helpful!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Nisha was incredibly helpful throughout the application process, helping refine my “why” for my essays and materials, and fine tuning essays. She also really got to know me and my experiences, and dove into specific stories to help pinpoint poignant moments to explore in my application. Her advice on school selection and organizing my timeline helped me optimize my time early on in the process too. I was lucky enough to be admitted to Kellogg and Columbia's full-time MBA programs with her help, and while I didn't get into Stanford GSB, I am confident that I put my best foot forward thanks to Nisha. Last but not least, Nisha is also incredibly friendly and fun to work with. I can’t recommend Nisha enough!

I Owe My MBA Interviews to Nisha – Truly the Best

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I worked with Nisha Trivedi from mbaMission to apply to three extremely competitive programs: the Berkeley Haas EMBA, Wharton EMBA, and Stanford MSx. My profile included a 2.34 undergraduate GPA, a 160 Executive Assessment score, and a non-traditional background. Despite those challenges, I secured interviews at all three schools and was ultimately admitted to Haas. I fully credit Nisha with making that possible.

From the beginning, she helped me frame my story in a way that was authentic, coherent, and aligned with each school’s values. Her feedback was always sharp, honest, and actionable. She challenged me to elevate every aspect of my application—from essays to resume to recommender strategy. Even when I felt I was done, she’d push me to make it tighter, clearer, and more powerful.

What truly set Nisha apart was her interview prep. She ran me through rigorous mock sessions tailored to each school’s style and expectations. Her tough but supportive approach prepared me to handle anything. When the real interviews came around, I was confident, composed, and well-prepared thanks to her coaching.

Beyond her technical skills, Nisha brought empathy and insight to the process. She never let me feel defeated, even when I doubted myself. She believed in my story and helped me tell it in the strongest possible way.

If you’re applying to any top MBA or EMBA program—especially with a non-traditional background or academic weaknesses—Nisha is the consultant you want in your corner. I wouldn’t have made it past round one without her.

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Working with Nisha was hands down one of the best parts of my MBA application journey.

I don’t think I would’ve been able to put my best foot forward without her. She helped me figure out how to tell my story in a way that felt honest and true to who I am, but also clear and strategic. I leaned on her experience to help me find the right stories and shape my overall narrative in a way that made sense. She was a real thought partner every step of the way.

With her help, I was admitted to multiple target programs. I genuinely don’t think I could’ve done it without her. I have a lot of respect for her work, and I’d strongly recommend her to anyone applying to business school.
