Nisha Trivedi Reviews

Company: mbaMission

Nisha Trivedi earned her BA in communication from the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. A deep interest in understanding the consumer inspired her to initially pursue a career in marketing research, and after college, she held positions at Time Inc., Rosetta, and KPMG LLP in New York City. A desire to transition into brand management led Nisha to Ross, where she was an active member of the Marketing Club, organizing mock internship interviews for her peers during her first year and serving as the club’s vice-president of communications during her second year. After graduating with her MBA, Nisha worked for several years in brand management in San Francisco at Big Heart Pet Brands (now part of The J.M. Smucker Company) before joining mbaMission. She most enjoys creating brand positioning and crafting tailored messaging that speaks to consumers’ needs, which is a skill she applies in helping her clients “market” themselves to their dream MBA programs. Nisha also has a longstanding commitment to philanthropy—she has been a volunteer team leader for New York Cares and now sits on the board of directors of The Shanti Project, a San Francisco–based nonprofit that enhances the health, quality of life, and well-being of people with serious illnesses.

MBA Consultant Review - Nisha Trivedi mbaMission

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I worked with Nisha Trivedi on my MBA applications and had a really positive experience overall. She was incredibly kind, smart, organized, and always came prepared to our conversations. The brainstorming sessions were particularly helpful—her thoughtful questions helped me unlock strong essay ideas. Nisha was also super fast with feedback and made communication seamless, whether over email or hopping on a call to talk through tricky parts.

One piece of advice I have for future applicants is to create a clear and structured plan for your MBA journey. Nisha helped me define mine, but it was ultimately up to me to stay on track. Since the process can feel overwhelming at times, having built-in structure really makes a difference. I recommend setting personal deadlines early and scheduling regular check-ins with your consultant to stay focused and organized.

Nisha was a great partner throughout, and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and responsive consultant!

Nisha will get you that acceptance

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Nisha was a great person to work with. The minute I started talking to her I noticed that she genuinely wants me to success. Being an International student, I felt she understood that I needed to portray additional requirements to the applications.

Having less than 3 years of experience, I can guarantee you that Nisha will get you a top-tier acceptance if you do everything she recommends. Keep in mind she reaching out to me more than I did with her. I truly felt she wanted me to get accepted more than myself.

I would definitely recommend her mocks, I felt really confident going into interviews, felt that recommenders needed to prove why I'm a good fit.

I owe you, Nisha!

My Highest Recommendation for Nisha Trivedi

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Ever since the start, I could tell that Nisha was extremely well prepared and detail-oriented. In fact, this first struck me during our introductory call when she was already asking me intricate questions about my education and work history -- the wheels were turning even then during our free 30-minute call!

In the months that we worked together, Nisha fully engrossed herself into my applicant profile, helping me generate a compelling narrative about my candidacy and why I needed each particular school's help to advance my career, and what I'd contribute during my time there. By the end of it all, I felt that she knew me better than I knew myself!

Her insistence on specific details in each of my essays for each of my target programs not only helped me become a stronger writer, but also demonstrated to admissions committee members why I was a candidate that they could not pass up. At the end of it all, I got admitted to all three schools that Nisha and I worked on, and I know this certainly wouldn't have been possible without her guidance along the way. The investment in Nisha paid off as I recouped that fee several times over in scholarship amounts.

If you're seeking to elevate your applications by bringing together the disparate parts of your education, career, and extracurriculars, and synthesize them into one cohesive narrative easily digestible for admissions committee members, you must have Nisha alongside you. Do so and you will certainly be putting your best foot forward.

Review of mbaMission (Consultant: Nisha Trivedi)

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I had a very positive experience with mbaMission, and specifically with the consultant Nisha Trivedi. She was amazing, worth every penny. Nisha helped guide me through the application and interview process for my dream school, Columbia Busines School (J-Term), and with her help, I was admitted into, and accepted a class spot in J-Term Class of '25. What I liked most about Nisha is through every single thing we worked on together, she went above and beyond what was required/expected, often working on weekends, holidays and odd hours to meet the self-imposed deadline I wanted to meet for my app. She also has a strong background in communications, and really did a phenomenal job in thinking about how best to position my story to show CBS AdCom the best experiences & characteristics I had to offer. I am SO glad I decided to work with Nisha, and I know I wouldn't have gotten into business school without her; I'd 100% recommend working with this consultant.

mbaMissioin, as a company, was excellent, and their OnTrack modules had a tremendous amount of useful precedents (short answer responses, resume templates, interview guides, etc.) hand-tailored to each school. I was impressed with how tech-forward they were.

Nisha's guidance helped me immensely!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Nisha instantly understood exactly what my needs were. I am definitely not a writer and she helped me craft my life's journey. She asked the right questions to help me think about my essay from different angles. I also chatted with her just before my interview and she encouraged me to be my authentic self and it worked. To be honest, I was feeling a little under confident and I really wanted to chat with someone who understood the industry and could give me their honest opinion about my candidacy. Thank you, Nisha, for being a MBA consultant + a therapist!

Wholeheartedly Recommend!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I had the privilege of working with Nisha on two applications, and was admitted to both programs with funding support. Initially, I thought I had a fairly good sense of the programs I was interested in and what I wanted out of them. My plan was to review the available guides and apply on my own. Given the high cost of MBA programs (both financial and commitment!), I decided working with a consultant would be a small investment to ensure I was targeting the best fit programs and putting forth my best application. I am so glad I did and found Nisha! She was very approachable, responsive, and offered great questions and feedback throughout the whole process. She was also a wonderful thought partner on several key decisions - offering considerations that I had not thought of so I could be sure I was making the best possible decision in short turnaround times. Besides the applications, I am confident the insights, self-discoveries, and articulation skills I gained from working with Nisha will help me in school and beyond as well! I will wholeheartedly work with Nisha again if I had the chance.

Saved the Day!

Prior to hiring Nisha, I had failed to get into any of the five schools I applied to in round one. I was referred to Nisha by a friend and she very quickly helped me redo my essays and general narrative, quickly pointing out where there was significant room or improvement.

I’m happy to say in round two, I had much greater success. I secured offers from both Chicago Booth and Columbia Business School. I’m confident that I would not have been successful had I not been willing to pivot and bring in Nisha. She helped out quickly and had great feedback.
