Nisha Trivedi Reviews

Company: mbaMission

Nisha Trivedi earned her BA in communication from the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. A deep interest in understanding the consumer inspired her to initially pursue a career in marketing research, and after college, she held positions at Time Inc., Rosetta, and KPMG LLP in New York City. A desire to transition into brand management led Nisha to Ross, where she was an active member of the Marketing Club, organizing mock internship interviews for her peers during her first year and serving as the club’s vice-president of communications during her second year. After graduating with her MBA, Nisha worked for several years in brand management in San Francisco at Big Heart Pet Brands (now part of The J.M. Smucker Company) before joining mbaMission. She most enjoys creating brand positioning and crafting tailored messaging that speaks to consumers’ needs, which is a skill she applies in helping her clients “market” themselves to their dream MBA programs. Nisha also has a longstanding commitment to philanthropy—she has been a volunteer team leader for New York Cares and now sits on the board of directors of The Shanti Project, a San Francisco–based nonprofit that enhances the health, quality of life, and well-being of people with serious illnesses.

Nisha is truly the most amazing consultant. I was hesitant to pay for an admissions consultant at first, but my time with Nisha was 100% worth it. For the 4 schools I applied for, Nisha helped me get accepted from Harvard, Wharton and MIT, waitlisted from Stanford - seriously the best outcomes possible.

She is extremely warm and supportive - Nisha made me feel so comfortable, ensuring I could get very vulnerable in my applications.

She was an amazing sounding board - to make sure every story and anecdote in my application reflected the best part of me, and also she is an expert at knowing what the schools are looking for.

When it was essay crunch time, Nisha went the extra mile to make sure I had edits as soon as possible. She always responded to emails promptly, scheduled Zoom calls when needed and helped me so much to be concise! With any questions, Nisha gives a firm and kind response - she also will double-check with other mbaMission consultants to get their input, so you get the best answer possible.

Could not rate Nisha more highly!!!

Nisha is a Rockstar!

I cannot recommend Nisha enough! I came into the MBA application process feeling overwhelmed and lacking structure. From the moment I connected with Nisha, I knew I made the right choice. Her inviting personality and optimism made this process a lot less daunting. I was grateful for all the upfront brainstorming and collaboration Nisha partnered with me on that helpful shape my story. From reviewing essays to answering one-off questions, Nisha was there for me at every step of the process. I truly would not have been accepted to my top choice program if it was not for her support. If you are considering a MBA consultant, look no further – Nisha is a rockstar!

When I first started thinking about my MBA applications, I was nervous. The idea of fixing up my resume and writing an essay centered around me seemed like an impossible task. It all turned around when I first started talking to Nisha. Immediately, she gave me the confidence I needed to tackle my MBA applications. She helped craft my story based on the brainstorm document that I filled out and gave great ideas on which essays would contribute to my story. She always turned around revisions super quickly and replied to any questions that I have just as quickly. When it came to the interview, she gave great ideas on how to tackle each problem (also based on the brainstorm document) and how to structure each answer. I got into both my MBA programs with amazing scholarships.

Thank you, Nisha

I entered the MBA application process with a lot of unanswered questions, knowing it was a daunting process that would require ongoing support from an unbiased third party. I'm fortunate that I had the chance to work with Nisha for almost a year as I navigated decisions on which schools to apply to, how to structure my application, and how to fine tune my essays. From our first meeting, Nisha listened to my ideas, thoughts, and questions very closely. I could always trust her to respond promptly, make herself available as soon as I needed her guidance, and I knew from her many years of MBA consulting experience that I was in good hands. Nisha understood my goals from an MBA program and could gently suggest new schools or application approaches that accommodated my personal strengths and weaknesses. Her feedback is very direct and constructive, and she knows how to encourage you over a prolonged application process. I'd recommend working with Nisha to anyone considering getting support from a professional. Thanks to Nisha's support, I'm joining Kellogg's 1Y MBA program next month and am excited for my future.

Admission Consultant Review

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I decided to hire a consultant because I was conscious of my low GPA and wanted to increase the odds of admission. That was a solid decision, as Nisha helped me to reduce greatly the stress levels during admission and to focus on the GMAT and my work. I also had a completely wrong vision on what should be included in the essay and Nisha helped me to edit my story to make it more convenient for schools. I‘m very satisfied with Nisha’s assistance and I would definitely recommend her services, as she is a world class specialist and she greatly increased the odds of my admission. And yes, I’ve received and admit.

Nisha is the Best

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Working with Nisha was very very helpful. I went into the process very narrow minded - I only wanted to apply to schools in the city I was living in. Through working with Nisha and discussing other options, she gently guided me to a place where I could picture myself applying & moving elsewhere. This alone was invaluable. I ended up getting into every school I applied to out of my city and received scholarship money from all of them as well. I didn't know if before this process, but the school I am attending is quite literally my dream school, and I am forever grateful to Nisha. Nisha, thank you for providing me with guidance and preparing me in all ways for what was to come in this process. Your insight was invaluable.

Trust the raving reviews, Nisha is truly a star!

Working with Nisha was a fantastic experience. She is amazing!
I decided to apply in the round 3 and was just 2 weeks away from the deadlines for my target schools. Despite the time crunch, Nisha took the time to thoroughly understand my story, offered some valuable insights to perfect my resume and essays. She also completely walked me through the mock interviews, spent a lot of time evaluating my performance and helping me strengthen my responses.
Through her guidance, I was able to get admits from all the 3 schools (CMU, UC Berkeley and UCLA) that I applied to and even secured a scholarship from one of them.
Nisha's quick turnaround time- she usually sent comments and suggestions within a couple of hours of receiving the draft, attention to detail and the ability to always be there and celebrate the success of her clients is truly commendable. I am so grateful to have found her and extremely thankful for all the guidance and support she has provided.

My Experience Working with Nisha

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I worked with Nisha during the Class of 2024 admission cycle, and had an overall great experience. Nisha awesome to work with, she was kind, thoughtful, and responsive throughout every step of the process. She helped me brainstorm my strategy for applying to schools, and made meaningful contributions to crafting a compelling narrative for each application I submitted. I appreciate how quickly she was able to turn around feedback on my essays when I was operating under tight deadlines.

With Nisha's help I was able to gain admission to two M7 programs and will be attending my dream school in the fall. I am confident that Nisha improved the quality of all of my applications and would recommend her to all.

Highly Recommended Consultant!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I was referred to Nisha by a friend who was successful in getting into an MBA program with Nisha’s help. Even though MBA consultant packages can be expensive, Nisha provided many benefits that easily made it worth the cost. Having her every step of the way, whether it was related to advice on the GMAT, essay brainstorming, or interview strategy, really made the application process that much smoother and less stressful. The guidance that Nisha offered was great and her feedback was helpful. Nisha was always very accessible and quick to respond. If she didn’t have an answer right then, she was very proactive to find an answer by asking her network at MBAmission. Overall, I was extremely pleased with Nisha and highly recommend her to anyone needing help with the MBA application process. I really enjoyed my time working with her and am very confident in her ability to deliver successful results.

Nisha is the best!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

As a non-traditional applicant with minimal hours to spare and little background on how to tackle the application process, I felt I needed the help of a consultant. I chose Nisha based on other reviews I read. After chatting live with her and other consultants, I ultimately felt she was the most confident in my potential as a competitive applicant regardless of my less than stellar GMAT score. It was her confidence and support that encouraged me to shoot for the moon and I was happy I did. Nisha gave me my space when I was swamped with work and held me accountable when deadlines and cutoffs were approaching. At one point she even expedited her review for an application I was running behind on, to ensure I could make the round 1 deadline. In terms of the materials we worked on together, I found her input and guidance were really thoughtful. While it was draining iterating so much on essays, she wasn't put off by it and she was patient and clearly committed to drafting best in class application materials with me. It all paid off. I got into all of the schools we worked on together, all with $ as well. If you want a consultant who is skilled at highlighting strengths to outshine any weaknesses, she would be a great choice!
