I took the GMAT on my own in January. My score was a 610. Veritas helped me improve 100 points. My instructor was Ravi Sreerama and he was amazing. It's difficult to keep someone captivated for three hours online, but he did. Ravi really emphasized getting rid of silly mistakes, thinking critically, and engaging his students one on one through chat. Ravi is extremely knowledgeable and teaches the Veritas Material with ease. He knows what he's talking about and what to emphasize.

I cannot attest to whether Veritas is better than Manhattan, but Veritas worked for me. I thought they did a good job emphasizing how to approach the test, especially basics that make the quantitative section easier. I wound up using a lot of the basic tricks that get you out of a question in a few seconds during the actual exam. The verbal section was also phenomenal as I was able to refresh my verbal skills and see the bigger picture and what clues to look out for in sentence correction.

I highly recommend Veritas and I highly recommend taking the course with Ravi.

Choosing Veritas Prep to help me prepare for the GMAT was one of the best educational decisions that I have ever made. I think if I was to just walk into a testing center without having taken this course, I definitely would be setting myself up for failure. I definitely recommend both Ravi the instructor and the Veritas Prep GMAT course.
Ravi is very thorough in his explanations of how to crack the GMAT the most efficient and logical way possible.

His tips and tricks help you to save time when approaching a problem and how to set it up to easily dissect. Their are a few methods he uses that diverge slightly from the course work but undoubtedly are great additions to your GMAT toolbox.

Another great reason to sign up with Veritas, is that you can retake the entire course a second time if you need to. Definitely a great perk to brush up on certain subjects that may be more difficult to absorb.

Ravi is a great instructor who knows how to demystify the GMAT for his students. He has a tremendous command over the material and has a knack for prioritizing key learnings to maximize what students can get out of their class time. Before enrolling for Veritas Prep Live Online Course, I did a little self prep using materials I obtained through another prep center. I had a chance to go through different GMAT concepts and I thought I was good to go. But, when I attempted a couple of full-length diagnostic tests I realized how weak I was in verbal. I got an 'ok' quant score but I knew I could do better than that. The most difficult part was I couldn't identify where I was going wrong. Since, the self-prep method didn't work too well for me, I decided to give the assisted prep method a shot. I needed someone to guide me in the right direction so that I could think in the right way.

That's when I decided to take up the Veritas Prep Live Online Course and my decision was based on its great online reviews. Ravi Sreerama was my instructor for the course. Ravi not only taught some good GMAT strategies but also, taught some valuable 'transferable tips'. His teaching helped me think in a more structured and organized manner. He also, taught the importance of being skeptical and thinking critically when attacking GMAT problems. His tips on RC and DS areas are priceless. The Algebra and Arithmetic classes gave me some life-lessons. In short, Ravi is wonderful with numbers and he is a great teacher.

The Veritas prep course material is highly advanced and extremely strategic. In order to make use of the materials to the fullest, a thorough understanding on basic concepts is mandatory. The curriculum covers the basic concepts just like any other test prep material, but, if you really want to reap a benefit out of the whole deal, you got to reach a certain level to understand and implement the advanced strategy level tips.

I am generally, not a big fan of live online teaching but, to my surprise I thoroughly enjoyed the live online learning experience at Veritas Prep.

I am yet to take my GMAT exam, so I cannot comment on that aspect now. But, my confidence levels have gone really high after I took this programme.

I recently took the online course with Ravi Sreerama as the instructor he was always able to breakdown a seemingly difficult problem and make it look really easy. The schedules are also very flexible.
The materials are thorough, I just wished I would've taken the course before the first GMAT but I am taking the test in a few week and with all I have learned I am confident I will be impressed my own score. I now understand how to approach each aspect of the test and how to conquer it. I will update with my result after my exam.

Ravi was a really amazing instructor who added a ton of value to this course. He keeps the class moving at a brisk pace, enabling him to cover a ton of material in a short amount of time, but does not sacrifice clarity and ensures that he can answer questions as needed. As a personal tutor as well as a Veritas instructor, he obviously has a lot of coaching experience that I found very valuable.
