Strengths:
Nothing at all, Prodigy was extremly unreliable and not professional.
Would make the product better:
Be more reliable and forth comming with your fundings
So i was matched to funding in March 2025 and was giving a loan confirmation letter as well in June.
But in Jul , they told me there was no funding avaliable for my program despite, earlier confirmation as if that meant nothing at all. And it's has been a very very disappointing experience , I will not ever return to Prodijy again for my financing needs.
Any student looking to rely on Prodjy , please look elsewhere. That's all I can comment.
I just find it really irresponsible that they could go around issuing confirmation letters but don't have the necessary funds to actually provide the loans, that itself is a hugh no go.
Strengths:
The borrow to international students
Would make the product better:
Don’t take advantage of international students that apre pursuing the MBA. Be a supporter for them.
I had a disappointing experience with Prodigy Finance. They initially informed me that the fee for my loan would be 5%, but I was actually charged 10%. This higher fee was based on the total amount I applied for, even though I only received half of that amount. Despite not receiving the full funds, they still charged the 10% fee on the entire sum, and to make matters worse, I am being charged monthly interest on that fee. This approach has been both confusing and frustrating. I expected more transparency and fair treatment in handling loan fees and interest calculations. My suggestion: run away from them if you can!
Oh wow! I am sorry. that's pretty crazy. Thank you so much for sharing!
Did you apply for MBA or Masters loan.
Yr 2 mba student
Was pre approved for both yr, first yr I got my disbursement
Second yr in late July they told me they'd ran out of funding. Totally irresponsible and unreliable
Never trust Prodigy Finance. It seems like it's their MO. They have done the same for all the students at my MBA School too. Withdrawing funding mid-way is even more detrimental than not financing at all. Never trust Prodigy!!!!!!
