Target test prep helped my preparation a lot. It is a great learning tool especially for Quant with problems similar to the ones on the actual GMAT. Would highly recommend it. It takes a few months to properly go through the course, so make sure you start early to get the most benefit out of it.
The techniques to ace the CR section are also very well explained and helped me a lot to strategically tackle these questions.
Sentence correction is also very well explained and highlights many common pitfalls in the SC questions. I would suggest practice the OG guides too on the side for the best results.

Few months ago I could not have imagined anything above a 650 on my GMAT. But thanks to the beautifully created course I reached a score of 730 in two months. E-GMAT is a great product for those who want to start their preparation from scratch or who struggle with timing on verbal section.

Hi all,akashdeep here.I have been a silent candidate here on gmatclub platform for the past 7 months or so.Having been failed to get a call from the premier IIMs,I decided to embark on GMAT as a sort of redemption.Started reviewing various platforms on gmatclub and came to know of e gmat.Also watched few of their live sessions and enrolled in december 2020.Initially i Had a subpar ability on both SC and CR.I took on of their ability tests and scored only a meagare 10 percentile in verbal.After going through their superb SC and CR course my ability in both started hitting upwards of 70 percentile in 3/4 months.Their step by step approach such as the meaning based approach helped me gain a whole new insight onto SC..Struggled a lot in CR and SC was averaging close to 90 percentile.In sigma mocks of E gmat I started plateauing at 680 or 690.Then i got into their Last Mile Program where you get one to one guidance from one of their mentors.I got in touch with #ATREYA Sir from e gmat and he guided me in every step.I began hitting 97th perentile in SC ability quizzes thanks to ATREYA again. I am having a full time job working in Finance. Hence I can't give a lot of time in GMAT prep. The Verbal module of the course really helped me in increasing my Verbal score from V27 to V40. The contents are that good to analyze and understand. Highly recommended for Verbal. There are lots of Practice questions after each lesson which helps in clearing the concepts of the course. Also there is a score predictor tool which is fairly accurate in predicting GMAT score. There are a huge number of questions in question bank for practice. The questions are very close to real GMAT questions. The AI is pretty sleek. They are working on the content and UI on a regular basis. Kudos to you guys.

When I started my process for GMAT and MBA, I did not really know all my options about which course to take to study for the GMAT. Being out of college for almost 4 years and having no quant in college meant I needed help for the GMAT.

Upon a friend's recommendation I tried the free e-GMAT access. It was quite detailed and slightly overwhelming but I knew that I needed to deep dive into concepts and then practice to hit my target score of 730+. So I chose e-GMAT.

The on-boarding was very smooth. There is a specific instruction on how to use the course and test your "test-readiness". Do not ignore these instructions like I did. It is very useful and tells you exactly how to self-evaluate in each section and sub-section, and gives you important tips on maintaining the error log.

A singular instance stands out to me where after 3 months of study, I still scored only a 570 in a mock test and I reached out to the support team at e-GMAT, in a state of panic. I got a very detailed e-mail and action points on how to get better and where I am lacking. I followed the instructions to the letter and I immediately went up to 690, and that's when I booked my first GMAT test.

Pros: (i) very responsive support team, (ii) very detailed quant and verbal, (iii) break-down of each concept. The sigma mocks are very good - and will give you a break down of each section where improvement is required. Take these suggestions very seriously and you should see an improvement in your scores.

Cons: some concepts may be too detailed but it worked for me.

With self-prep last year, I managed to score a 680 (Q49, V34). I was unable to go past this score as it seemed I had plateaued my verbal score.

I decided to give another shot at GMAT this year and figured that I would be needing some assistance for the verbal section, especially the reading comprehension. I began exploring various self-prep courses available and came across Gmatwhiz. I booked the free consultation it offered. The following are the things I was informed and I considered to convince myself why Gmatwhiz would be the best among available to reach my target score:

1. To-go study resources for any newbie starting GMAT prep are famous books published by American companies. Implicit in their structure in order to serve the native-speaking population is assumptions about certain topics which students already are aware of. Hence, when a nonnative speaker uses these books, they often fail to grasp topics entirely, as was my case in my first attempt. Gmatwhiz’s course is designed specifically keeping the non-natives’ needs in mind and overcomes this problem.

2. Entirely personalized course. We all are aware that personalization and customized user experience are the future of consumer products, and I was very attracted by the fact that Gmatwhiz has incorporated them into its product. On the basis of my performance in quizzes, the algorithm would recommend videos to revisit and help strengthen my concepts.

All in all, Gmatwhiz helped me raise my verbal score from a V34 to V37, a much-needed increase to reach my target score of 720. I would highly recommend this course to everyone.

I started a Manhattan Prep GMAT course online with Jamie Nelson in the middle of April 2021. I went into the process pretty nervous since I had taken an official exam without studying the right way back in 2019 and got a 580. My goal score was a 730 going into the class. I got there on my 1st retake of the official exam!

JAMIE WAS A ROCKSTAR!!! She taught us the tips and tricks to approach questions and really guided us throughout the process. The online course was very organized and easy to follow. If I were to do it all over again, I would 100% do this course and request Jamie specifically. If you're considering taking the class I would recommend requesting Jamie, hands down.

The only two things I would note is that I found the Manhattan exams to be MUCH HARDER than the actual. I was getting low to mid 600s on the those exams. Which is probably a good thing cause you'll find the real one easier, but that did shake my confidence a bit. I went from those scores with Manhattan to a 760 on my first official practice test. Maybe the gap is a bit more for me than others potentially.

And...only other thing I wish was different was that this class would have been live / in person. Jamie is such a great / cool person that it would have been awesome to get know her outside of Zoom :)

With the help of TTP I went from a Q40 to Q49. TTP is just the right course, if you really want to achieve in-depth knowledge and skills for the qualitative section of the GMAT. So many GMAT like questions as well as excellent explanations. This course is unbeatable. Highly recommend it to any person, who wants to score high in the quantitive section of the GMAT.

Additionally, TTP launched a verbal section, but unfortunately just at the end of my preparation phase, so I did not fully use it. Still, the theoretical part was very extensive and gave me some knowledge I did not possess before.

I signed up for Target Test Prep's 4 month plan and went through the entire curriculum prior to taking my first exam. I was hoping to improve my 650-680 initial score to a 730-740 in order to get into my target schools. After getting a 710, I reached out to Jeff and Scott, who created a 1-month study plan that got me to my goal of a 730. The quant study materials are very thorough and helpful. Each module provides guided examples and quizzes to practice one's knowledge. There is also an extensive test bank that can be customized to redo incorrect answers or ones that take longer than two minutes. The verbal modules, while not quite as helpful in my opinion, also provided a strong base of knowledge for the critical reasoning and sentence correction questions. Overall, TTP was very useful in helping me reach my goals on the GMAT. I would recommend the service to others and encourage them to work through all the modules.

I already had a score of 740 and wanted to go above that mark. I knew that pacing through questions was my biggest weakness, and hence I chose e-GMAT to work on that.

I was impressed by the number of questions as well as the interface that was available. Question difficulty is up to mark for scoring high in GMAT. The interface allows you to attempt questions in sets and in a time that simulates the GMAT test-taking experience. This helped me a lot to control my anxiety during the actual exam. Apart from that, the explanations provided are sufficiently articulate to make you understand any concept clearly.

I found e-GMAT really helpful when it comes to practice and would recommend this to anyone who is struggling with the exam.
