Back in May, before I even began my preparation for GMAT, I attempted the first official practice test and scored 410, which in a way created a mental barrier about how much I could possibly score in the actual test, even with sufficient preparation. While I was trying out a few courses, I spoke to Piyush from GMATWhiz and told him about the aforementioned score. Based on my profile, he recommended a target of 680, which honestly, I was sceptical about achieving. Nevertheless, I went ahead with GMATWhiz as my choice of course since I found the video lessons very engaging as well as immensely useful on account of the content covering every topic right from the absolute basics. The feature that pretty much sealed the deal was the personalized analytics and recommendation engine (my job involved making recommendations to my company’s business partners based on individual performance metrics, which made this quite relatable).

I started my preparation and used the course in the exact sequence that it asks to, focussing on one section at a time. Saquib, who had been assigned to me as the strategic mentor guided me on conquering my weaknesses, especially with Quant, where I needed assistance the most. His recommendations on individual concepts, on external sources for questions as well as a detailed review of one of the official practice tests that I took, helped me identify and plug gaps. The verbal section, especially CR, is explained beautifully and trains the student very well on spotting fallacies and flaws in reasoning, which is what critical reasoning is all about. The recently added Score Predictor provides a fairly accurate range of what one’s actual score can be and was very useful. After a gruelling four-month preparation marathon, I scored 680 on the actual exam, which is exactly what Piyush had recommended. After studying for 6 months and scoring 660-690 on practice exams, I choked and scored a 660 (42 Quant) on Test Day, with my quant score particularly low. I was bummed. Yes, it was my first time taking it, but I psyched myself out when I started taking too much time on the first 10 questions in Quant. It threw off my rhythm, and I ended up having to race through the test of test, panicking and most likely making casual mistakes.   I took two months off and started studying with a different Test Prep self-paced course, and I was very excited as I scored 750 on one practice test. However, that was the only practice test I took and was very cocky going into the exam after 30 days of serious prep. But, when I got to the Quant, I again froze after busting my butt through those first few questions. I couldn't focus well for the rest of the exam, and ended up cancelling my score of 650. I felt like I failed myself after feeling so confident going into it.   As I did some soul-searching, I started checking out the blogs on GMAT Club and Beat The GMAT. I discovered Target Test Prep, where everybody raved about how thorough the Quant Prep material was. That was what I needed: even though I majored in math in college, I was used to higher-level math and longer periods of time to solve fewer questions. I needed better strategies for solving easy and medium difficulty questions if I was going to break 700. After a hardcore two additional months of going through the supplemental notes and targeted quizzes, I felt like I was prepared for any kind of question on the exam. TTP breaks the material down into ultra-specific sections, some of which I would assume have a low probability of being on the exam. However, this extremely thorough and rigorous study material was exactly when I needed to stay both confident AND calm on test day. When I took my exam two weeks ago, I understood my weaknesses going in. I recognized many problems that I could find simple, process-driven solutions to. I may have still made a few careless errors, but I felt very proud of myself for finishing the Quant with a minute to spare. I believe this also helped with my confidence going into the verbal section next, since I wasn't on edge worrying about how I did on Quant. When I saw that I scored 710, I was absolutely thrilled. I increased in EVERY Section on the GMAT (46 Quant, 40 Verbal, 5/8 IR, and 6/6 Analytical Writing). I thank TTP so much for helping me to almost feel OVER-prepared on test day.

TTP course is one of the best courses for Quant out there. I have tested few others as well but TTP stand out for everyone wanting to improve from low Quant to High Quant score. A good customer support especially from Jeff who is 5 mins away from clearing your doubt, a very well-structured curriculum, and practice tests for individual parts ranging from Low difficulty to high difficulty questions help you move up and cement your basics in a structured and organized way. The course is pretty vast and you have a flexibility to trim it per your weaknesses and strengths. I completed the course 100% in around 45 days, spending close to 3-4 hrs daily. The Quant prep content on Magoosh was extremely helpful in getting a basic understanding of all the topics that are tested on the GMAT. The video explanations and alternative methods that they provide as part of the solution was also very helpful.
The Verbal section could have been better as the jargon used to explain concepts in SC may not be as easy to grasp, especially for non native speakers. The quality of the quant section seemed much higher than that of the verbal section. Magoosh also server on Discord where they have verbal and quant experts available to help. You also get to interact with other students who are on the same boat.

Target Test Prep Quant's course is the best one out there. The course is structured in such a way which will make you learn the concepts deeply. The questions are realistic as per the GMAT standards.

The course reinforces your learning by throwing timed tests at you after completing each module. These tests are integral to your "deep" learning experience.

Also Scott and his team were always proactive in answering any doubts I had through out the course. I am thankful to their awesome support.

But mind you, the course is comprehensive and you should take enough time to maximize your learning from it. But rest assured, through the Target Test Prep course, you can achieve your dream quant score.

As someone who hasn't taken algebra or geometry since high school, TTP was a hugely helpful course. I selected the 6-month subscription and chose Expert (46-48) level. The platform itself is very intuitive from a user perspective and in particular, the tools that TTP offers -- Error Tracker, Analytics, and Custom Tests --were of great help to me. They allow you to really focus on your weaker areas prior to test day. Additionally, if you are someone who travels often or studies in different places, having an online course is far more convenient than carrying GMAT books around with you. TTP tracks which questions you get wrong so that you don't have to, which is also a huge benefit when compared with GMAT textbooks.

As I'm sure others have mentioned, this is an extensive course. It took me roughly 3 months to finish it while employed full time, but for most GMAT test takers you get out what you put in. I completed over 2,000 unique quant questions before test day. I did not take any tests prior to taking the course so I don't have a great comparison benchmark but I only got 38% of questions right on my TTP diagnostic before taking the course and afterward scored 80% consistently. I did not use the course extensively for Verbal so I can't speak as much to those resources.

I have been preparing for GMAT Through egmat online course and I found it be very lacking regards to the content. Also I feel their questions in the Scholaranium to be harder than usual and not a representative of actual gmat. Overall, I found it very hard to finish their course and I felt that their layout of content to be a bit lacking. My verbal score did not increase even a bit after spending few months (except for SC) with E-gmat Verbal. I feel they do a lot of marketing for their course to gain people but wish they would put more effort towards the course. Their exam is not at all close to the real one atleast not even close to veritas or mgamt. Their quant course is awful. Pllease consider befor taking this gmat course.

I took the E-GMAT Online & Verbal Course after scoring a 680 on GMAT. I could improve my verbal from V35 to V39 and Quant from Q47 to Q50. It is a fantastic product which helps you improve your concepts and apply the learning to consolidate it. The course is thoughtfully broken down into small sub parts which helps you focus & identify your weak areas.
I would highly recommend this product for all aspirants who want to ACE GMAT.

TTP really helps with the methodical, step by step approach that the GMAT is well known for. I saw an incredible difference between the first exam I took and the one after I completed all of the courses, and I credit this to a few different spots:
1. The problem sets are exceptional, not just for emulating the GMAT questions but for the 'gotcha-moments' that tripped me up in the real exam.
2. The way the material is presented is very user friendly, and easy to take notes with and go back to for refreshers.
3. The lengths of the tests matched up with the actual GMAT timing, which helped with the strategy portion that I was not prepared for the first time around.

Overall, it was worth the investment- 2 months of TTP costs about as much as 1 hour of tutoring. Whether it's a video explaining the problems or a step by step solution, I can't think of a better option if you want to improve your Quant score.

I used MGMAT software, spent close to $1000 on it and was testing at 690 by the time I finished the course. I then bought TTP for 2 months at $150 per month, and I was able to bring my score up to a 730. I debated continuing to try and get ~750, but school and work are in the way currently. I will definitely re-purchase TTP if I decide to retake.

I would highly advise anyone who wants to save money and get a high score use TTP. The Verbal beta is already coming together nicely and the SC prep is top notch. Really all you need to score well is:

1. Buy TTP
2. Buy all 6 official practice tests
3. Buy the additional 400 or so official questions
