I stumbled upon, e-gmat through its one of the seminars. I took its Rc webinar, and points specified in it, itself helped me take my Rc accuracy from 72 to 88%. With such a dramatic improvement I started taking its webinars on regular basis, including Quant. Realized that if just 30 min webinar can improve my performance what would the entire course would do?! I enrolled for the course and started as per the study plan provided, not only it's effective I also had a lot of fun going through this learning phase. Due to my last minute health issues and personal problems, i couldn't practice well the last month. I would definitely recommend all to take this course.

Fantastic Program!

Course Target Test Prep Flexible Prep

I stumbled across this program really late in the study process. I hadn't been studying and had scheduled the exam for 2 weeks from the date I signed up. Knowing that Math would be my weakest point, I needed a rigorous program that would allow me to both concentrate on specific areas of weakness, provide timely feedback, and build on my foundation. In short I was in an impossible situation, trying to cram and relearn math in short order.

The program was fantastic in helping me achieve my goal, boosting my Quant score by 20 points in less than a week of dedicated study. I highly recommend starting the program with enough time to complete the course start to finish, as I think I would have easily added another 30 points.

The flexible pricing and the depth of information is another major benefit of this; given the intensive and time consuming demands of my job, I knew I would not be able to complete a standard course, but I think this program would be even better for someone who is really focused on quant!

Great for Quants, Skip Verbal - Non Natives

Course Magoosh Premium

Location Online

I bought Magoosh Premium subscription during the start of my preparation for GMAT as it was one of the cheapest options available in the GMAT test prep space. Magoosh can be a very good starting point as it really helps in building the basic during the initial stages of the prep. Now let me dive into the individual questions and provide a point of view on it.

Verbal section of Magoosh is not upto the mark specifically for the non-natives, cant really judge the course from the point of view of Natives. I would suggest non-natives to skip their verbal section.

Quants section is a great place to brush up your basic and practise low difficult questions. They have explained basic question of the foundation level in quite detail. It is one of the test perp company which comes very close to the GMAT level difficulty in Quants. But the platform lacks adequate amount of difficult questions. For quants one should supplement magoosh with gmatclub test and gmat perp question.

eGMAT Best for Verbal (especially Sentence Correction)

Course e-GMAT Online Focused

To give you bit of a background I am a Chemical Engineer and work in production department of a fertilizer producing company. I have scored 750 in my first attempt of GMAT and have converted ISB Hyderabad. I wanted to thank eGMAT for this decent score and thus palnned to write this testimonial.

Since I am a chemical engineer the main problem which I encountered during my preparation was that I work in shifts with Wednesday as my weekly off. I didn't have so called weekends at my disposal. Moreover after each Wednesday my work timings change from 6 AM to 2 PM or 2 PM to 10 PM or 10 PM to 6 AM on a rotational basis. To put in simple terms there is a weekly change in my work timings so I had to factor in these constraints while preparing for GMAT.

I enrolled for eGMAT on February 28th and gave my exam on June 21. eGMAT being an online course gave me the flexibility which I wanted and was my best bet in that scenario. I chose eGMAT on recommendation of one of my close friend.

Sentence correction(SC) was my weakest section and that's where I think there is nothing better than eGMAT modules. They have done such an extensive research on this topic for each slides of sentence correction. I prepared my personal notes for each slides for future reference. I did not mug up each and every rule which they provide to be frank but I used to just skim through my notes on a weekly basis and also just before attempting a mock. This in my opinion ingrained those rules in my subconscious and I can say this with conviction because my accuracy with SC gradually increased.

For Critical Reasoning (CR) section initially going through the strategies stated by eGMAT was absolutely necessary for me. The segregation which eGMAT has done on the basis of question type is commendable for CR section and in turn it familiarised me with the CR section. But for CR section my opinion is once you get familiarised with the type of questions that are asked, the best way to improve it is through practice where the Scholaranium designed by eGMAT comes into picture. It is a test taking platform where one can customise and decide the amount of questions, the topics one wants to attempt and the time frame in which one wants to attempt it.

Coming to the Reading Comprehension (RC) part, along with eGMAT modules reading books is essential. Though eGMAT modules can help you get familiarised with this section but they can do as much since this section requires alot of patience with gradual improvement and no magic wand can give you sudden grip on it. In my opinion best way out in RC section is constant reading and then practice.

For Integrated Reasoning (IR) section I just read eGMAT material two weeks before the test. Though I could not score well in IR in the actual exam but my score does not reflect the value of the modules of eGMAT since I used to score 7 and above in my mocks and there was strategical error on my part during the exam which lead to just 4 in the actual test.

In short I can say eGMAT's Verbal online program is a well though out and researched one and the modules especially SC ones are Gold Dust. I highly recommend this course to the aspirants.

So Far it's the best experience for me.

The quant part has the best questions that you will find anywhere. And it's not just the questions themselves, the explanations provided also help you uncover many shortcuts and help strengthen your core concepts. Admittedly, I found them to be a little harder than the GMAT quant questions, but that should help you be better prepared for the final test. And also, the live prep session very really useful cause they emphasize on questions which matters the most.

The focus is on concept :)
Before taking the course my score was Q39-Q40 whereas now I have improved my score to Q48-Q49.

Highly Recommended.

Hi , I recently scored a Q 49 and this was a improvement of 4 points from my previous attempt of Q45. I owe this improvement entirely to e Gmat quant online course. The platform is designed to teach you the courses in small bites and there are associated practice exercises to test your learning. Even though quant in GMAT is high school level but one need an air tight logic and grasp of concepts to not to make silly errors in test. This course of e GMAT does a good job by dwelling deep into basics as well as keeping the learning very interactive. I highly recommend the course if you are targeting Q49 and above.

GMAT Prep with Jeff Miller and Target Test Prep

Course Target Test Prep Dedicated Study

Location Online

I had the pleasure of working with Jeff for six months on GMAT Prep. Given my busy schedule at work I had to take a long time off the GMAT studying at one point but Jeff was able to bring me back up to speed really quickly through a focused program and I ended up improving my Total GMAT score by 70 points. For me as a student he ticks most of the important boxes: He responds to questions very quickly, very flexible to schedule time with, can simply very hard concepts, is able to design study plans specific to your weaknesses, will up with you regularly and keep you on schedule, is someone who is very motivating and encouraging and knows the GMAT really well. Certainly one of the best choices I made as I was studying for the GMAT was signing up with Jeff and Target Test Prep. The Target Test Prep online program is very easy to use and prepares you really well for the main things tested on the exam. I tried two other providers before this and felt this program was the most comparable and relevant to the real exam questions. They didn't overcomplicate the concepts. Really happy with my experience and highly recommend them.

Review of Verbal Scholaranium

I liked using the scholaranium. it is a good testing platform which gives actionable insights to the user. It has a dashboard which tells the user his/her ability and accuracy level in each section as well as sub topic within a section. User has option to take Verbal ability quizzes to assess which areas he/she is weak at. Based on this analysis he can study the course content and then take custom quizzes to improve on weak areas. This methodical approach leads to measurable score improvement.

In addition I would like to highlight that the course content is interactive and fun to do. it has pre and post assessment quizzes. You can skip the course content if you are confident of your ability for a particular topic. There is another feature I liked. The video modules have a menu option for easy navigation. For many of the topics I could use this feature and directly go to summary slide to quickly grasp concepts due to lack of time.
I also liked the GMAT score planner. This allows user to provide his target score and current abilities in quant and verbal. Based on this, the planner suggests how much we need to score in both quant and verbal to achieve our target score. It goes one level deeper and tells us what ability/skill we need to develop in sc, cr and rc as well. This guides us on how much time we need to invest in each section. Overall, very useful course for methodically tracking progress and improving concepts.

Focused Content + Continuous Feedback

The first time I took the GMAT (2013, undergrad), I scored a 710. I started studying again a few months ago and tried all the prep materials out there: Manhattan’s practice tests, Veritas’ question bank, Magoosh question bank, etc.

Target Test Prep had exactly what I needed to crack the 700 barrier again and score a 730 - categorized quant content, study plans (long or short depending on timeframe), and a continuous feedback loop. I actually kept a spreadsheet where I classified each incorrect answer (geometry, number properties, etc.) as well as the reason that I got it wrong (stupid mistake, poor understanding of content, etc.). TTP had this built in, which really helped focus my studying with the limited time I have. Their approach is by far the best, and has an excellent price point.

Best GMAT Quant Prep

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Improvement 70 Points

Course Target Test Prep Flexible Prep

Target Test Prep is the absolute best resource for Quant preparation. After getting a 70 point increase in my GMAT score, I can't imagine that anyone would not see an improvement their Quant score after properly following through with the Target course. I did a number of other courses before doing Target, and I wish I had just gone straight to Target and not have spent my money on the others. All of the topics and approaches that I felt like I didn't understand after the other courses were thoroughly covered by Target.

The Target course format is comprehensive, easy to understand, and effective. Math topics are covered starting from the basics, which may seem excessive, but trust me, you don't realize how crucial those basics are until you see how much your score improves. The structure and content of the lessons were great, and the example problems in each lesson really highlighted how each concept is applied on the GMAT.

The real key to success of the course, in my opinion, are the practice tests after each lesson. The practice tests are what really test your understanding and will highlight things you thought you knew but actually didn't understand when it came time to execute. For your tailored study program, you will be given accuracy goals for the tests; make sure you do all the tests and hit all the accuracy goals. I was short on study time before one of my earlier GMAT dates, so I made the mistake of skipping tests and just flying through reading the lessons. The Target program will flash constant alerts at you if you do not follow the recommended study plan and complete the tests -- trust me, they know what they're talking about, follow the study plan if you want the best outcome for your score.

Get Target Test Prep if you want to improve your GMAT Quant score; you won't regret it.
