I purchased Kaplan and the official GMAC books but found it hard to fit studying into my busy schedule, and dragging the books along with me wherever I went was inconvenient. I love how Magoosh is all online. The videos were extremely clear and helped me learn the concepts I found hard to take in when studying from the books. The practice problems were also a bit harder than the official exam, which made test day a lot less stressful for me. All in all, I'd recommend this package to anyone looking to take the GMAT and I fully believe it's all you need to do well!

I received late notification about an important MBA opportunity and only had one month to study for the GMAT. My sister recommended Magoosh after her successful GRE prep using the program. I spent almost all of my free time during that month studying with Magoosh and achieved a score within the range I needed on my first (and only) opportunity to take the exam. I would never recommend cramming GMAT prep into one month if it isn't absolutely necessary, but Magoosh helped me make the most out of my limited time. I love how Mike and his crew focus on truly understanding the basics of each topic. For example, he trains you well how to compute negative exponents by understanding the fundamentals of what exponents really are; in case you forget the quick mental tricks, you can fall back on deeper understanding and work your way up to the answer. This saved my bacon on a couple of questions on the exam, one involving the unit circle geometry, and one variously compounding interest.

Pedagogically, I love how Mike explains multiple solutions to the same problem, for example one algebraic, one geometric, one intuitive.

Also, for an older guy who grew up taking paper exams, I appreciated how the Magoosh interface mimics the actual GMAT interface.

Lastly, I love that when I asked a question on this forum about a concept I was struggling with, Mike himself responded.

My one recommendation for improvement would be having a singular list/video of "must-memorize" concepts/numbers (e.g. squares up to 15, unit circle proportions, etc.); Mike tells you in the individual videos that these are must-memorize concepts, but I would have liked to have one centralized resource for them.

I am from engineering background so I never had too much trouble in quant sections. But the main issue was Verbal section. After doing a lot practice questions and reading concepts again and again,it never helped me to improve. So I searched for a course on gmatclub and saw E-gmat with its highest reviews and highest score improvement on verbal. Immediately I bought E-gmat verbal online and stated my preparation. Course has short quizzes at the end of every lesson so its very helpful to properly understand every topic.
After completing the course I was able to correct my every mistake on SC & CR.
Some courses have questions above GMAT difficulty level but E-gmat has same level of questions.
It helped me to gain 80% accuracy on CR( my weakest point).
They teach very easy to understand strategy for every section.
Their SC section is different from other courses,they teach us to understand the meaning first then find the errors.The way they teach SC is incredible.

I highly recommend this course for non native speaker.

Being an Engineer Quant was never a problem for me. I scored Q50 on both occasions. On the other hand, Verbal, especially SC was my nemesis. During my first attempt I only solved OG and Manhattan SC book. I had simply no clue that Verbal section can be approached in a way e-Gmat does. After a dismal 650(V27) on my first attempt I took the Verbal live prep course. Immediately I was simply blown away by the concepts, structures, vidoes and approach of e-Gmat. It took me quite some time to get used to but I once I figured it out I could easily solve SC problems. SC and Scholaranium of e-Gmat are too good. Even the quant portion of Schlaranium is awesome and quite tough(:P). I slowly gained confidence and I was scoring around 730 - 740 in my mocks. I scored a 710(V35) in the actual. I could have done better, but I was content. Now that I have secured an ISB admit in R1 I can simply say that it wouldn't have been possible without e-Gmat.

Hi.. In my opinion, the e-gmat verbal is the most effective course out there. I had already taken my gmat and scored 620 with a V28 and knew I needed some help with the verbal section. That's when I chanced upon the e-gmat. I purchased the full course after attending a few of their free webinars and course material that's available when one signs up on it.
I must say that they have an incredibly structured course videos which strong emphasis on the concepts and providing pre and post ability quizzes for each topic.
There was another course material which I had referred which was purchased by my sister but the e-gmat concept files beat it in the manner the concepts are presented and the way application of the concepts is conveyed across.

I'd highly recommend the e-gmat to anyone who's either starting theit GMAT prep or is looking to improve their score.

Manhattan GMAT has long been regarded one of the best GMAT prep programs out there. The Interact product was a great way to get structured instruction and practice without spending the cash for the full classroom course.

I utilized the self study guides to practice the GMAT but hit a wall and was not able to improve my GMAT verbal score. The Interact product gave me the structured instruction along with guided practice that I needed to really grasp the materials. I completed the Interact verbal material within a week and noticed a 50 - 60 point improvement in my GMAT score. Although results may vary, I strongly believe that the Interact program can help students who are struggling on the self-study route.

Hi all, Firstly i would like to thank "Team E GMAT" for their honest approach in designing the course. Its worth for Money & most importantly TIME. The quality of time the team has invested in designing the course can be truly felt, if prepared well & paid attention to.

I attended classes from 2 other institutes before approaching E GMAT. You really will notice a lot of difference in terms of approach & understanding questions. I really liked the way the course has been structured & helped me change the way i approached verbal questions.
SC Concepts were at its best, i never felt lost throughout the course & the detailed analysis presented for all the practice questions are really good.
Initial topics of Premise & Conclusion & Inference was really HELPFUL in solving assumption questions,which are in general considered to be difficult ones.
In all its the best course worth a try in terms of Time,learning & Money invested. Last but not the least i am giving my exam on this 23rd & i am confident at this point of time in getting a good score.

I signed up for Magoosh early in my GMAT Studies. And since I hadn't taken the test before starting with Magoosh, I can't say how much it improved my score. I will say however that it was a huge help.

Pros: I hadn't thought about math since graduating years ago and Magoosh was a perfect refresher. Mike Mcgarry did a great job explaining concepts. They provide really great information throughout their blog. The amazing video explanations at the end of each question was the highlight of the course.

The Cons: It's really easy to spend too much time watching the videos and too little time doing actual problems. The Timer function on the Magoosh Practice tests counted up instead of down (like the actual GMAT does) so that was confusing.
There are a lot of GMAT tricks/techniques that I didn't think Magoosh covered as well as they could have. I would have liked to have seen better analytics in their dashboard.

Also, it was kind enough to extend my course when I couldn't finish it in time. It is very precious!

Every explanation on this platform is easy to understand, so I could easily learn how to crack my weaknesses and enhance my strengths.
