I am a non-native English speaker and this course stood out to me for several reasons:

-it broke down the concepts to easy manageable blocks for someone who is busy with a job and unavailable for the weekend live classes.

-I always wondered what the proper order to study the material. for my first attempt, I studied CR then SC and left RC until the end and was completely burned out by the time I reached RC. Result? 50th percentile for all SC,CR and RC

I only hoped that the example difficulty during the actual lessons progressed from easy to medium to hard. I think that most of the examples during the lessons are much, much easier than the practice at the end.

Overall, I highly recommend this course for anyone who is struggling the Verbal section but cannot commit at certain times.

I took the individual course of sentence correction in egmat and it worked wonders for me. Earlier i used to look at the sc question and use to select the choice that i felt right but after completing this course i got a completely different approach of handling the sentence correction question. egmat course makes available pre assessment quiz and post assessment quiz for each and every single topic. I have got a complete hold of grammar and sentence correction questions and i have seen improvement in my scores as well. I would recommend this course to all the students who want to improve their verbal scores

Neither would I say it is a great course nor would I say it's bad. It's okay okay types. In my opinion, every course teaches you something new that you didn't come across earlier. So, there were various things that I learnt from this one. Magoosh's math course is better than its verbal part. If you compare it with other courses, I would say e-gmat is a better choice since I got significant improvement from e-gmat & my score decreased with Magoosh. However, this doesn't mean magoosh is not a good one. Its just the individual preference. There are many people who find magoosh a good deal especially when you get such course at such a low price. For me, what I found very good in Magoosh is its math course at very competitive price with superb customer support. They provide money-back guarantee and when I didn't get any improvement, they were so quick to revert on that and returned the money as fast as they could. They even sent me an amazon gift card. So, all in all, I like their math offering with an awesome student support.

I'm a non native. My first Gmat test score was Q49, V23., I was terrible at Verbal. Therefore I was stuggling with SC ,RC and CR.Then I watched a session on sentence's meaning of e-GMAT. Then I purchased Egmat verbaI online Course. The concept given for SC and CR are very good . I learned though the course makes SC seem more easier task to handle, and the important thing is their approach gives me confidence to tackle SC and CR concepts are very helpful while tackling some Hard question.I scored 600 in gmat prep 1 ,690gmat prep 2,650 in manhattan prep free test and 710 in veritas free prep test .Although I performed badly on the D-Day.But I highly recommend this course for all those who are struggling with Concept of SC and RC .Concept given in the files may come handy in your preparation for gmat

Hi Guys,

I could achieve my target score i.e. 710 (q49,v38) on GMAT. I underwent Verbal online course at e-gmat. Needless to say it has really helped me my verbal score. The program really explains the concepts thoroughly and in a concise manner. After going through a concept file, you really come out with a wow. I would highly recommend this program if you intend to only focus on your verbal and I pretty sure e-gmat's other program are also as good.

Only suggetion to E-gmat is to make the program a bit more interactive. While I know the program provides good analysis on weak and good areas, it would be really helpful to get some qualitative insights in a short mail. For instance: "In the last 30 days you have completed so and so sections and we find that you continuously get these right and these wrong"

Final word: the 'scholaranium', the explanation to each and every question is A-class. Just to give you a bit of analysis: I gave a gmat prep just after completing concept section - i scored a 640. Then I took a month or two to complete scholaranium, my score straight away jumped away to 680/690.

Keep doing the good work guys.

My official score report will be out in 2/3 days. I will provide a snapshot soon.

e-GMAT Verbal courseware is a step in the right direction. When I started my prep, I was confused with varied courses provided by Multiple vendors. With no specific measure, i decided to get a feel of the courses from few vendors, eGMAT being one of them. The Free trial, free sessions by Rajat alongwith with strategy plan helped me zeroed in on e-GMAT VO course. Before starting, I was doing Good on RC, average on CR & disaster on SC. With help of Verbal Online, I was not only able to retain my strong areas, but also got free of a nightmare 'SC'. The conceptual clarity, flow of understanding from SC to RC & structure courseware from eGMAT helped me improving by 7 points in Verbal section.

Though my own study plan floundered due to only effort in Verbal, thereby impacting my overall score; I would suggest anyone aiming a 700+ to put faith in eGMAT & their complete pedagogy to achieve their goals.

In spite of that, I'm going for the courseware again to boost my scores and would get back to this post as I come out with with flying colours (Fingers crossed :-) )

e-GMAT online verbal course is the best!!!!

e-GMAT verbal online course is one of the best courses I have taken so far in my life and it was a really good learning experience. Being posted at a relatively remote location of India, it was really difficult to access live courses and that is what is forced me to choose an online course. What I I liked most about e-GMAT are as follows:

1. e-GMAT's well-structured interactive course gave me an experiential learning through a step-by-step methodology for solving the practice questions.
2. The course encouraged me to first develop my concepts and then focus on timing, thereby helping me to reduce errors.
3.e-GMAT's focus on addressing the meaning related issues helped me improve my sentence correction dramatically.
4. e-GMAT's pronounced emphasis on the difference between ability and accuracy helped me understand what is actually required to score higher in GMAT. I improved my overall score by 30 points.
5. Webinars are just awesome. The recordings of webinars are good enough to clarify the concepts they address.

The specific modules/features I liked very much:
Sentence Correction: Modifiers
Reading Comprehension: Paragraph summaries to developing Main point.
Critical Reasoning: The concept of Pre-thinking.
Overall: Scholarnium-an awesome collection of 700+ questions that helped in sharpening the edge.

Having completed the course, I now feel confident about writing good English, which would help me in writing better B-school application essays. e-GMAT also helped me in my final hours of preparation by extending my courses. Thank you e-GMAT for all the valuable support!!!!

My 2 cents: e-GMAT verbal course is the best!!!!

I've done quite a few GMAT courses (online & classroom), but didn't see any course even close to this one. Be it verbal or quant. Once you are done with the course, you would know many things that you didn't know earlier.

I took the whole course (verbal+quant). I was among the first ones to opt for the quant course when egmat first launched it. I would say verbal is a notch higher, especially for non-natives, if you compare it with the quant course. However, that doesn't make the quant course any less.

This is the course which will take you to a level above your's irrespective of where you stand.

Course Magoosh Premium

Happened to know Magoosh through one of the emails from UC Berkeley Haas, listed among recommended GMAT courses.
- GMAT score before: 690
- GMAT score after: 730
- Duration: 31 days
*Good
- Very structural approach on how I can customize my practice
- Good and detailed explanation to let me know how to avoid the same mistake
- Show recommended lesson at the bottom on answer: trust me, you will love this tool
- Wonderful customer service,: indeed i had 31 days away from my exam, but the CS officer was so kind to extend 1 day for free (from my purchase of 30-day package) so that i could review on my last day before exam.

*Bad
- They have multiple mobile apps like Flash card for Verbal, Maths... i hope they can integrate all into one app - one platform

The Quant course offered by e gmat is practice driven and offered you a lot of good practice questions to improve your skills. The e gmat process helps you develop logic to solve questions.Even though they do not recommend taking shortcuts , but once you master their methods , you will be able to think out of the box in really difficult questions which will take your score to great heights. After doing their Quant course , you will feel confident , you will have a solid base , you will be able to solve difficult questions with ease.I recommend this course to anyone and everyone
