I really appreciated the verbal online course. The explanation and videos are very good for non native speaker like me. The practices and tips are very handy for my prep tests.
The Sentence correction helped me to strengthen my basic knowlegde for all the areas.
The prethinking technique for Critical Reasoning is the best tips to shot the CR questions.
I recommand it for non native with little background of English and GMAT.
If you follow the courses topics very tigthly you may come out with good score at GMAT test.
Thanks to eGMAT team for this powerful online courses designed for busy people like me.

I started preparing for the Gmat a few months back. Time is a big constraint for me. With a full-time job and with a kid at home finding time to study was/is tough. I found that the best way for me to study was studying/reviewing in short bursts of time.

Magoosh was recommended to me by my colleague who recently gave his exam and was really happy with his 7XX score.
I started with the trial version and then was really impressed with the way the material is presented and allows you to gain somethings in a short duration. I could get some videos done at work and then some during lunch time at work.

I am really impressed with their Quant material. The way it is presented and some of the tricks they have really help on saving time. 5 + stars for Quant.

For the Verbal , I would say their material is a bit light. It does a good overview of all the grammar basics and some other stuff but for SC and CR I would still recommend reading the MGMAT books.

Overall Magoosh is totally worth it. It has so many practice questions. You can configure your practice in number of ways. Do only hard ones , hard ones from a topic that you find tough etc etc.
The course is helping me a lot in preparing and getting me ready for the exam. Without it and all the time constraints , I think I would be lost.
Now time to schedule the exam and nail that beast :)

For me eGMAT gave a hope that I can improve my verbal. I did not understand why I was not able to improve my verbal, but after going through the eGMAT 3 step process, my accuracy in SC improved a lot. Also the pre-thinking in CR improved my accuracy in CR from 60 to 80%. From my point of view, it is more important to learn the core skills than focusing on practice. This is what is exactly taught in eGMAT. I am planning to take Quant live prep as well since they offer guarantee on GMAT score. I am looking forward for my real GMAT test and I am sure eGMAT gives me a chance to reach my target score.

Magoosh is an excellent resource. I am yet to take the exam (April 24th), but I can already see a marked improvement in the way I tackle math and verbal questions. This is an amazing product especially for the price- I read a few reviews on GMAT Club, and was not sure whether these reviews were even real! Everyone seemed to have loved Magoosh, and I was obviously skeptical given its below market price. However, I have been following the course as closely as possible, and I think its one of best tools you need for the GMAT.
I do think the verbal section is not representative of the actual GMAT questions. Some questions seem very easy, but Magoosh categorizes them as "Hard". I guess Ill know where I stand when I take the actual test, but I would recommend Magoosh to anyone who needs a study plan, and some discipline while studying for the GMAT.

Being a non-native, I was struggling to get a good grasp over the verbal section of GMAT. Hence, I was looking for a good course that can explain the concepts clearly. After attending a few free workshops by e-gmat, I enrolled for the verbal online course. It very clearly explains the concepts and has been a great help in my GMAT preparation. Also, the newly launched scholaranium is very good for practice and identifying your weak areas so one can focus on them. I wish I had come across e-gmat course much earlier in my preparation.

Highly recommended course for non-natives!

Good for Math, but still to basic if you want to hit 700

Pros:
-Math videos are representative and include cool tricks for the test
-video lessons are short and easy to follow- especially great for learning after a full-time job.
-the predictor score for the math was representative of what I actually got.

Cons:
-Verbal questions are too easy and not representative.
-I was only able to generate two practice test from the test pool.
-the predictor for verbal is not very accurate as i was more than 15 points off for my verbal.

In summary, I took this course to for the 50 points increase. Sadly, after 2 more month of studying, I got the same scale score and only increased my total score by 10 points. If you are looking to break the 700 barrier, this course is too basic for you. I will be looking into additional resources for help. Hope this helps.

I registered for verbal online course few months back. As a non-native speaker, I feel the course really helped me in getting basics right and prepare better for the test. While the videos on various topics are very detailed, the structured approach helped in learning every topic without much of hastles.
I also had a chance to try out e-gmat scholaranium (meant to identify strengths and weaknesses. I must say the questions are really good and i feel this course can help a serious test taker in identifying the weak spots and thus enable him/her to prepare better for the exam.

I decided to give e-GMAT course a try after reading many positive reviews and improvements in verbal section of the Gmat on this forum. My weakest section was sentence correction. On average my accuracy was only 40-50% before taking the course. With the help of e-GMATs guided approach I was able to increase my accuracy to 70-80% in sentence correction. I started off with sentence correction section and followed up with SC live sessions. Live sessions were incredible since it helped me clear all my doubts. I followed up with SC practice to strengthen my SC skills. The critical reasoning section also helped me strengthen my score in critical reasoning. Critical reasoning accuracy increased from 75% to 90%.

Hi,

Before starting with the review, let me tell you about the circumstances in which I opted for e-GMAT Quant Live Prep.

I am an 34 yr old Engineer, who last spent times with books some 7 yrs.back. While I decided to take the GMAT exam, I was not sure whether my maths fundamentals are still strong.

I enrolled for Verbal Live prep in July 2014 (Quant Live prep was not launched by that time). I was so impressed with the methodology adopted by e-GMAT that I subscribed for QLP, as soon as it was launched.

What I had observed that many of more worried about our Verbal Score and take the Quant section for granted. Some of my friends stuck to Q46-Q47, while scoring a decent V40. Had they invested a little time on Quant, their GMAT score had boosted by 30-40 points. Since, I did not wanted to take a chance, I opted for QLP.

The first session with Rajat Sir was an eye opener. The session started with some warm up question and continuosly the difficulty level kept going up. The course seriously targets for 49-51 in Quant section.

Most of the classes were taken by Ms. Japinder, who was quite patient with students, even after marathon sessions of 3 hrs.

Over the time QLP kept on adding more n more question in every section. The assement section, which includes Advance Test really tests your nerves.

All in all, QLP is really good to start from scratch and to reach at the toughest level the GMAT tests.

Hello,

I have joined Quant Live Prep Course with a plane slate, it has been almost 10 years when I left college and needed to brush up all my basics, it became really a task to concentrate and to start the study. As I am a busy profession I needed a structured approach for my study and that is when I got to know about the Quant Live Prep, it has given me solid start discussing all nuances of maths that you need to crack the GMAT, it discusses the concepts in such a manner that you really imbibe the learning. I believe cracking GMAT depends a lot on how you study, you may be good but may not be able to crack the GMAT Quant, that is when you require a course which is well crafted.

While the course discusses the fundamentals in detail in its video lesson, the live session teaches you how to solve the tough 700 level questions. Overall the course is really great and the best part is that you can learn whenever you want, on the go, in the car while travelling to office – good one for busy professionals.

A small suggestion/request to the EGMAT team, Please introduce a Scholaranium for Quant as well at the earliest.

Thanks EGMAT for making study easy for busy people..

Happy Learning..

Regards
