How can i find how many timers i used in a day?

The best way would be to go to the Error log and count.

You can temporarily change your time zone to be in the Pacific time zone, GMT -8. Just make sure you enable the daylight savings time as well because that changes things by an hour.

To change your time zone, head over to the settings.

PS. We will check with our tech team to see if we can add the timer account on the widget in the right hand side. Not sure how fast we can pull that off however…

So meanwhile, use the same method employed by thousands of other participants over the last five years - Manual account in your error log. Make sure you only count from the appropriate sub forums.

It would be very hard to do to give you a link to ANY question in those sub-forums…. 😬

It’s like the famous message, press any key on the keyboard and then you have users who cannot find the any key on the keyboard.

PS. Literally any question with the timer in one of the specified sub forums on your screenshot qualifies.

You even have a counter in a little widget on the right hand side on the desktop… You can see it changes as you take questions. You guys are spoiled compared to where we were five years ago 😂

Hi, I'm very new to GMATClub so this might be a dumb question, but for the questions I've seen here so far, the timer could be started whenever. How is it ensured that people do not start the timer after partly or completely solving the question so as to minimize the time taken to solve? Will people be able to see the question only after the timer starts - and not be able to pause it midway - and probably be able to view the timed question only once?

2. Posting an explanation. This is harder but this will help you a lot

lets suppose it did 60 timer in a day will i get 100 points or just 50 points

Great question.

There are two Components:
1. Taking the question with the timer
2. Posting an explanation. This is harder but this will help you a lot

lets suppose it did 60 timer in a day will i get 100 points or just 50 points

50 points is the max number. You either get 50 or you get nothing.

Hi,
I’ve taken more than 30 timers in a day (as per US Pacific time, yet don’t see the points credited.
Secondly, I had a small question regarding the 30 timer points. Suppose I take 60 timers in a day, will that double the points?

Hi,

Can you change you answers before the answers are revealed?

To avoid people changing answers last minute before the answers are revealed (and then being not happy that moderators did not spot it), you cannot edit your answers and you cannot make multiple posts in the same topic either. So I guess the answer is no. Once you take the timer and once to submit the explanations, those are final.

PS. However, if you figure out how to do it, you’re welcome to modify them.
