Actual Cost of MBA - Real Budgets from Students of Various BSchools

Yeah.... there is probably a much smaller drinking/social budget (probably) though reading the news out of Chicago it does not seem to stop Booth or Kellogg students from getting together. Travel budgets are less as well. I would guess you would save at least $10K now with all of the above per year. At the same time, Internships are tricky. Still hearing about people and recruiters being somewhat active and some folks doing internships this past summer but no clue really how things will turn out once it is time for offers, letters, etc. This would mean a good hit to the budget if someone was planning to have 2 months of income and subsidized housing.... though it may equal out with the 10-15K of savings on travel, bars, social life.

I may be too optimistic here though I think the COVID impact still has not been fully grasped in terms of the mental fatigue, damage to one's health, bad eating habits, etc, etc.

Good question! From what I hear, In general, it has helped to save $$$
I have heard separate stories with most people saying they saved money on recruiting trips, travel for fun (there is still some of that though), partying (a lot of that secretly and on smaller scale), gym membership fees, etc but not sure the cost was worth it. Several folks have suffered mentally, emotionally, and have gained weight, and missed friends and have no internships

Can we also have a post where alums can share the percentage of amount they got funded in terms of Educational loan, rate of interest and repayment period for them?

I understand B-schools give their average ROI but that doesn't give complete idea of students funding their fees in terms of loan vs scholarship vs personal savings/family money.

It will be helpful in calculating the risk and better educated decision making, in my humble opinion.
