Let's look at the bright side for a second. Firstly, it's great that they actually gave us that list in the red folder - I admire their transparency.
From a quick count - approximately half the class has internships/ full-time offers and from reading the first page of the March 7 issue of Cornell Business (also in the red folder they gave us) - look at article 'Finding the Elusive Job" by Karin Ash of the CMC - she states "Even in good markets, among the top business schools, most full-time job offers are made in November, April, May, and June.
Half of the first-year class receives their job offers in April and May" so hopefully numbers should look a lot better by next month.
And although MC, IB recruiting looks bleak - others functions (especially marketing) job stats are looking much better.
