Hi charliedan,

Here's some information about timing of sim tests:

By the time you take your sim exams, you should know the material. Ideally, sim exams should be taken after having reaching at least the halfway mark in your GMAT prep schedule. Certainly be sure to take the first one no later than about two weeks before the real test.

Once you begin adding sim exams to your studying regime, you should plan to take one every two to three days. Plan to take five sim exams to thoroughly prepare yourself. These tests should be taken in real time and in test-like conditions. Try not to take too many sim exams—you may burn out.

And remember, no sim tests the day before your actual exam! The day before your exam, do some light studying and try to relax.

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Elizabeth

I have GMATPrep version 2.1.279 installed on my PC. It seems that a new version is available, 2.2.317. Does anyone know if there is any difference in questions between these versions? I am guessing not. I have not taken the two practice tests yet; if the questions are going to be different in the new version, then it makes sense to take the two tests first and then upgrade. I would appreciate any feedback...

I have attempted 4 Manhattan CAT tests. I am completely dumbfounded by the range of scores that I got - 650,630,750 and 650, in this order exactly. Please help me analyze this trend to change my studying pattern or my test strategy. I'm taking my GMAT in 10 days from now. :/

HELP!

Just a feedback:

Please don't take 800Score tests since the quality of RC's and SC's is very poor. Furthermore, the quant tested is far from what is tested on GMAT, a calculation intensive approach to questions.

HI Beth, Are these free tests hosted at Booth and UCLA different from the free test available on your website? Thanks!

Hi MensaNumber,

The tests should be different. Let me know if you have any other questions.

GMAT Club's new test (Free) Score:

Q51 : 26 correct 11 incorrect
V41 : 34 correct 7 incorrect

Dear bb, knowing that these tests are not adaptive, can you compare this score (broadly) with actual GMAT ? Or, at least give some insight to how to interpret the score.

Hello Guys

I have a rather small query: Does the Practice section on GMAT PREP software comprise of questions that are also likely to appear on the 2 GMAT PREP CATs? In simple words, can I practice using this *practice tool* of the software without worrying that the questions I'm seeing in these practice sessions may also appear on the 2 CAT?

Thanks in advance.

Would you please tell me what diffirence between two products on Manhattan GMAT, regarding the CAT test and questions bank.:

This: Manhattan GMAT Computer Adaptive Practice Exams - 1 Year Access https://www.manhattangmat.com/storeitems ... 81&catid=4

and

buying a book with price $26, and a account which can access to CAT test??

Thank you very much

The difference is length of access only. It is a strange strategy, I know. If you purchase exams from Manhattan GMAT directly, you will get 1 year access. The codes that are included with books are valid only for 6 months. This is the only difference.

One quick question.I will be taking the GMAT in a month or so.Naturally, the length of subscription does not matter to me.Will it be better,if I buy this book which costs 26$,rather than buy the 7 CAT Test course for 49$.Clearly the book deal appears to be a better financial decision 8-)

Also, from where can I purchase is book?Is it available on the Manhattan GMAT Website?

Waiting for your replies. :thanks
