Y'all, just got an email that they will review waitlist candidates again in early May. Looks like they have admitted few from the waitlist already. Any other admit updates from other waitlisters here?

I assume you are waitlisted in R1? Looks like they will reveiw the waitlisted candidates for all three rounds together in May.

I havent heard a thing from them. In addition, my status stays Submitted, though being waitlisted. According to the tracker of last year, I assume they will call you on May 10th if they want to bring you in.

I called the admissions office couple of days back. They let me know that they're reviewing Round 2 waitlist now and they will move on to Round 3 waitlist afterwards and then they will circle around to review everyone who have been waitlisted. I was waitlisted in Round 1 so I might have to sit tight for a while.. Good luck to folks who were waitlisted in Rounds 2 and 3. :)

That sounds a bit weird. Why would they give preference to R2 waitlist and not R1? I thought they will probably review R1 and R2 WL together.

It's because they have already done a review of Round 1 Waitlist folks in March and admitted a few.

Let's see. I see there is one R1 WL acceptance on Livewire posted yesterday so not sure how the adcom is evaluating the WL.

Just heard back from Admissions saying that they admitted a few and released a few from the waitlist. Congrats to folks who got admitted! :) I am still on the waitlist atleast until early June. There's still a tiny ray of hope, fingers crossed..
