Quick Question - Do any admission decisions come prior to the deadline (March 14th) & does Haas notify applicants by phone or through a portal update? Thanks!

Judging by R1 and last year’s cycle, looks like Haas started calling people around 3 days before the deadline

Anyone else has not heard a thing since their application was submitted? I feel Decision Date is too close for any more interview invites... Do people get wait-listed without interviewing?

Haven’t heard anything yet either and don’t have much hope of hearing now. Not sure if they waitlist applicants without an interview. Posted from my mobile device

Just sharing my info for your assumptions. I received an interview invitation 3rd week of Feb and interviewed last week and now it’s been radio silence. Not sure when they stop issuing interview invites.... fingers crossed for all of us ! Posted from my mobile device

Confirming this. Applicants in R1 started receiving calls from Dec 11th while Dec 13th is the notification deadline.

What’s the rationale for no communication towards applicants who have submitted? Do they hold off the maybes because they prefer to not interview and WL, so instead they let the top crop shake out first and then invite more ad hoc pending how the interviews go? I’d have to imagine all applications have been reviewed and see no other reason for keeping people on the hook otherwise. Like others, I’ve obviously considered my chances dead by this point but I do wonder the thought behind the strategy. Posted from my mobile device

But then won’t they lose their WL applicants to other schools as well? I’ve got admitted to a couple of other schools but still haven’t accepted any offer yet because I’m still holding out for an interview invite from Haas. My hope is dead now though, just like yours.
