Thanks for the response. You know I'll probably send them an email because I still get a not authorized prompt whenever I log in which is pretty annoying

The PID should be available within 3 days more or less. Its not immediate.

Cheers!
J :)

You can log in to the admitted students site using the email you used for your application once your first admitted. After you submit your deposit, they change your username from the email you used in your application to your lifetime id (First Initial_Last Name_17). While they are changing this, you may get an unauthorized message for the admitted students site if you use your application email to login - I was unauthorized from the site for 1-2 days. Hope this helps.

I'm still waiting for my UNI as well but I can login and have access to the admitted students site now using my lifetime id.

Additionally, have you all contacted the other schools you had applied to, in order to withdraw your applications?

Not sure what the protocol or timing is here for doing that.

Not yet. There's no real standard or protocol mate. Its your choice how to deal with it

I got that email as well. Not sure what specific questions yet, but I'll probably include some questions about living in NYC, for example what neighborhood is best.

Anyone admitted with low GPA?

I can't speak about the GPA directly. It hurts but it is not impossible if you excel at all the other aspects of your packet. If you have a high GMAT and outstanding work experience then it is a matter of framing your essays to emphasize why CBS is right for you while overcoming the GPA issues. I had a low quant score on my GMAT but I indirectly addressed it in my essay's when I spoke about double majoring in finance/economics as an undergrad and working in the IT field now has given me a firm analytical grasp and prepared me for the academic riggers of a demanding MBA program. I hope some of this helps, best of luck!

Hey a quick question, do they provide our lifetime e-mail and ID after we paid our deposit and fax over the confirmation?
Thanks in advance.

Good evening, I just received my call today and I'm thrilled to have been accepted. Can anyone shed any light on the merit based scholarship opportunities? Specifically, do they tell you in your acceptance letter if you've received some aid? I would think so, but wasn't sure the procedure. Thanks

The scholarship deadline isn't for a couple more months, its possible to get notification of something early I believe but not hearing anything at this point doesn't mean you aren't getting anything.

As far as the 5th goes I would love to come but I can't justify flying from Europe for a 90 minute meet and greet. I will definitely be there for the first admitted students weekend however. No dates announced yet but last year's was in February

I was also accepted a couple of weeks back, so happy to part of the club =)

When are people thinking of quitting work? I was initially thinking around April/May but am now considering resigning by the end of Jan.

Hey guys, for merit based scholarships, per the admitted student website, it looks like we'll hear on a rolling basis with the deadline not until 1/7. However, it makes the point that you will hear through the online portal, has anyone heard? I suspect not given the class is just now coming together, but was unsure... Obviously anything would be nice.

On a side note, has anyone withdrawn their applications if they were ED? At this point, given the deposit is due, it doesn't really make much sense to withdraw applications, rather let them play out and see what happens - you're paying for it. Any issues with that?

I don't know what you guys think but I believe quitting too early might somehow damage your resumé a little. When you begin recruiting, your dream employer may question you on your motivations to quit your job 7 months prior to the beggining of classes.
In my case, I'll get married in the beggining of May and I'm planning on not going back to work after my honeymoon. I guess anywhere from May to end of July is fine.
