Hi Lci,

I am sorry you didn't get the interview invite.

EMBA programs are not as transformative as regular full-time MBA programs because they don't focus as much on recruiting. So, in principle, an EMBA is not ideal for a career changer.

That being said, while doing your EMBA, you could ask the school to let you participate in the recruiting process of the full-time MBA program. This is what several clients of mine have done.

And at the very least, you could leverage the school's brand and its network to land an interview with a private equity firm.

May I ask your age and/or years of work experience?
