Or that there are very less seats vacant for round 2..multiple sources project this trend of and upward curve in the applicant pool size. The deferred-s cases from 2020 and 2021. Compare the pool size of 17-18&19 and you see the trend. The deficit of 2020 and 21 had to be adjusted anyway.. this is just one conviction!

Booth generally has second year students and alumni conduct the interviews with a set of questions they’re supposed to ask + digging in on additional points that come up in the interview. The interviews are performed blind, so the interviewer doesn’t have any of your application materials other than your resume.

Yes I had a client get rejected after interview by Duke and then get Wharton with $ - and this happens all the time, rank does not matter as much as fit, and do you fit with their needs in shaping the class.
