Just now done with my interview with a second year student.

Question that were asked to me.

1. Tell me about yourself and highlight major points on your resume.
2. Why MBA and Why Broad?
3. How do adapt yourself to a new team or organization?
4. Tell me about a time when you handle a conflict?
5. Give an example when I included a person or group into discussion.

There were couple of more questions which I don't remember right now. It was a direct and focused interview. Lasted around 35 minutes.

Same core questions about Why MBA? why MSU? and why now? my interviewer talked about importance of working in team and how my previous experiences could help me and what I will be looking for in a team and how do I plan to contribute to my team? behavioral question for me was talking about a situation when I faced conflict with a colleague and my approach. medium for interview was Microsoft Team and it was okay but not much video quality and I had issue setting a different background (free version) but it is so easy to setup and join even from browser. interviewer was a true gentleman and overall theme was a friendly talk. Beware that they are fully dominant to your profile and when at starting instructs you to talk about yourself and walk me through your resume, it is best if you talk about highlights and stress those points you feel it is needed. short term goal was another question and how do you define success after graduating from Broad! Last 5 mins was appropriated to interviewee questions.
Interview platform: MS Team
Duration: 30 minutes
Overall theme: friendly talk with predefined questions and some follow ups.

I am unable to add this school to my decision tracker. Anyone else facing the same issue? How did you resolve it?

Is it better to be interviewed by an mba 2nd year student / alum or admission team ?

Which one is better * as many people hmgot interviewed by alum, some by 2nd year student and some by admission director. What is the essential difference and why it happens in the first place ?

Waiting to hear from them. Do they release decisions on a rolling basis? Any Early Round / R1 applicants here who can help answer this?

No such thing as better to be interviewed by x than by y. I interviewed with the admissions director: she was lovely, and it was a very conversational interview

The allocation is somewhat random, but also based on your current / future intended work ex

In Early and R1, the decisions were released much ahead of the decision date. So we can expect something this week.

Decisions are released around 3-4 days before next round deadline. So that brings it to around 2-3 March most probably for R2.

Has anyone yet denied their offer?

Deadline is March 6th and decision release March 10, according to website. So, I think they’ll update us once checked newest submits

But checking the newest submits, wouldn’t that take too much time. Also, they can’t interview straight for R3, so any idea if that would affect R2 decisions ?

Agree. It takes time. That was my guess and I am not sure about it. But I can’t see any other reasons for releasing decisions after next deadline.

I think decisions are made on rolling basis after interviews, but rolled out cumulatively 3-4 days prior to the upcoming round deadline. (ie 6th March). Same thing happened in case of R1 decisions as well.
We can expect by 3rd or 4th March tops!!!
