I was hoping that you would get accepted :(
Can you please share your thoughts on the piece in your application that might have gone wrong? May be later, if not right now.

Best of luck with other applications though.

Well, my stats were great. I worked with a extensively with a consultant on my essays and resume.

Probably comes down to my shorter work experience than comparative candidates.

Not sure if I will bother applying to other schools at this point, considering that ED at Columbia was definitely my best shot, so I don't feel confident about other top schools. I was looking to make a career pivot via B-School, maybe I will add more value by spending time on making that pivot on my own.

Sorry to hear that.
I'm sure, better things are around the corner.

I'm surprised that they didnt even extend an interview to you with that massive GMAT.
Meanwhile, the suspense around my candidature continues..

How many years of experience do you have?

Sorry to hear that, though

All the best for your interview. Let us know how it goes.

Also I think you wanted to write 28 sept and not 29 sept ?

Realistically they won't start reviewing any RD apps until sometime in November, then people will start hearing back for interviews in December?

That seems crazy late to me.

Oh well, I guess I need to wait!

They say they don't review any RD apps till after all ED apps. The ED deadline hasn't even passed yet so you can assume it won't be until at least a month after the ED deadline.

For those of you who have already been accepted, what materials did you use to prepare for your interviews?

Just the clear admit interview guides. All those had basically all the questions I was asked. I would definetly practice with a friend/co-worker/girlfriend/boyfriend before though to make sure you have your answers down pat without sounding rehearsed.

Yes, no problem =)

I am a female engineer, 27 years old, I'm international but have been working in the U.S. for 5 years. I am looking to move from a niche engineering industry to a niche and related business industry. I was very specific in my essays and prepared a lot for the interview. I really liked my interviewer and the current students I met during my campus visit. I completed my undergrad in an moderate selective school, GPA 3.5 and GMAT 760.

Hope it helps!

Everyone who has heard good news lately has heard at or slightly after 3 weeks from submission. No one has been hearing quicker than three weeks. So I'd start looking out this Thursday (if you submitted the tenth).
