Hi everyone,

I know that in the Johnson's website, they said we can request the GMAT/GRE waiver by submitting the full online application for Full-Time MBA then we'll receive the decision in 5-7 days. But, did anyone try to email the adcom asking whether they can grant the waiver before we submit applications or not? (or maybe give us a hint about our chances of getting GMAT/GRE waiver)

yasminegunawan I don’t know about this year but I can definitely say if you really have a strong quant background CA/CFA only then opt for a waiver. Last year I applied to Cornell Tech’s programme requested a waiver received one in 5 days and then they rejected my application. I connected with a lot of people thereafter that made me realise GMAT/GRE metric is important specially for ivy leagues, until and unless you have a strong proof with regards to not taking the test ! I was admitted in round 1 on a GMAT waiver. I was notified within a couple of days after I submitted my full-time application. Once it is waived, my status did not change. It will still be labeled "submitted" or "pending review"

American male. 3.5 GPA. No certifications; coming from a Corporate Development (M&A) background at a fortune 100 company.

Whats the word limit for the goals essay? The actual form doesn’t mention any limit whereas website mentions 350 words. I tried entering more than 350 words in the field and there was no problem. Can someone please explain this?
