Would answering ’no’ to the question ’If offered admission, can you or a sponsor provide documentation for liquid assets equal to or greater than the annual cost of attendance?’ affect our chances of admission?

Hi There,
I don’t think that would affect your application as most schools do not use financial capability as a factor in evaluating and offering admissions.
I believe it would only affect financial aid as there is no reason to offer a candidate who has confirmed they can afford the cost of attendance a need based scholarship/fellowship. Only merit based ones if available, would be considered.
