Hi everyone, I am new to the group and wanted to check with your guys. For GRE how I should decide initially which school I should mark at the end so school receive the official test score. And as per my understanding, beyond 4 schools if we are requesting official test score directly from ETS, it is going to charge, therefore I am not able to decide on this part. Moreover with 331 GRE which college I should target for MBA, where I have the probability of getting chance. Profile - 8 years of exp, 7 years in Risk & compliance and 1 year as a product manager. BSC in Computer application and mathematics followed by an distance learning MBA.
Hi. Welcome!
A few ideas for you:
1. Many programs now allow you to report your test score and upload the screenshot of it without you actually having to send official score all the way until they send out admit decision, which makes it much more economical to apply to 10 or 12 schools. This is not a universal rule but the number of programs allow this. Maybe someone can comment if Johnson allows this approach.
2. You have a good score at 331. If you would like a professional
profile review, you can submit yours using the
decision tracker and mark the profile evaluation request checkbox. You should be able to get a few responses with some suggestions and ideas.
decision-tracker/index.htmlUsually people choose programs based on employment outcomes rather than their background. For example if you’re looking to go into consulting, Tuck or Yale are really strong. If you’re looking at finance, Johnson, booth, Wharton, and so on.
