Round 1 is now closed for the majority of the schools, and people are waiting to hear their decisions. Some ultimately reap the benefits of an exhausting application procedure. In contrast, others are denied (we feel you, buddy!), and still others are going through an even more difficult process- waiting for their results.

We understand, and it's much more difficult if you haven't heard back. Most schools should release their R1 results by November, and you'll still have a month for Round 2, but if your target schools are taking longer, you'll be anxious.

What else you can do is talk to a few experts to get an idea of your chances of getting into the schools you've applied to. If you receive overall positive feedback, you may accept the risk of waiting for the results; but, if you begin to have doubts after receiving professional advice, you might just want to start preparing for Round 2 right now (for some safe schools, at least).

Got a waitlist conversation invite... anyone else?

Waitlist conversations with Adcoms....I guess this is specifically geared towards internationals...as most of the slots were named "International Waitlist discussion"

I am domestic, and got an invite. All the slots were named “Domestic Waitlist Discussion” so it must be two different groups

These waitlist conversations are for people who applied in EA and we’re waitlisted

Anyone has an idea what is % of waitlist conversion for internationals?

did anyone else get an invitation to tour grounds? Should I sign up if the only time I can attend is after my interview?

I do not see why not. I think it can only help your application. Even if it doesn’t help, wouldn’t you want to see the campus anyways? I am looking into this option as well for myself.

I read somewhere that 2 out 3 interviewed people get admits.
