Hey, I totally agree, don't be discouraged. I interviewed two weeks before decision date, and was accepted!
Also during my interview, they mentioned admissions interviews nearly 90% of applicants. I think you're right, post-interview, you have a 1:1 odds of being accepted.

Don't be discouraged! When I visited, they said interview invitations are given on a rolling basis, even up until the decision deadline. So there's still hope! Heck, even if you don't get an interview, that doesn't mean you weren't accepted. Interview requests are usually for the admissions staff to get more clarity on a candidate that they either need more information about for assessment purposes, or to validate any suspicions, good or bad.
