Does Haas EWMBA program have a single interview day (for a given round) for all interview invitees or do the applicants have the option to choose an interview date?

Hey, I don’t think there is one single interview date, rather it’s based on your availability

I applied for R2 on Jan 16 and the admissions committee received all of the necessary documents by Jan 27. Today marks the third week since I submitted my application and I haven't received an invite yet. It's getting stressful because as the days go by, I know it becomes less and less likely that I'll receive an invite. Does anybody know what percentage of applicants receive an interview? Also, for those R2 applicants that received an invite to interview, how did the interview go (assuming that you already interviewed)?

dlanderer to answer your question, only 20-30% of applicants are invited to interview. And out of those that are invited to interview, the people accepted from the interview pool is roughly 50/50 (technically 40-60%).

Don't be discouraged! When I visited, they said interview invitations are given on a rolling basis, even up until the decision deadline. So there's still hope! Heck, even if you don't get an interview, that doesn't mean you weren't accepted. Interview requests are usually for the admissions staff to get more clarity on a candidate that they either need more information about for assessment purposes, or to validate any suspicions, good or bad.

Hey, I totally agree, don't be discouraged. I interviewed two weeks before decision date, and was accepted!

Also during my interview, they mentioned admissions interviews nearly 90% of applicants. I think you're right, post-interview, you have a 1:1 odds of being accepted.

Good luck everyone!
