Congratulations to everyone who got the HBS invite! I have a 760 GMAT, 4.0 GPA. I did management consulting for 2 years before joining a VC firm. I started a company in my spare time that now has 10 employees and is profitable. No invite. There are tons of qualified candidates so don't be hard on yourself if you don't get one. It takes a mix of intelligence, hard work, and plenty of luck to get in.

alex and billsfan, I'm not actually from Buffalo but lived in the area for long enough to become a fan. Good to know there's plenty of WNY love on this board! Was actually in town this past weekend to see the Bills lose - Needless to say, the interview invite on Tuesday was a great pick me up. Congrats to all so far who have received an invite. Hello dexum, Not trying to be rude. Why do you need an MBA? If I were you, I wouldn't look to waste my time and money. Practical experience matters to me the most.

Hey BuffaloBillsFan, first of all congrats! Just wondering if you can share a little of what changed during this past three years. Did you change the focus of your essay, post-MBA goal, rec letter (if I remember correctly, they ask for new letters each year)?

Billsfan and quinnie, I also got the invite yesterday as well. It looks like the adcoms feel bad for us bills fans after watching brady beat us down year after year. If we are lucky enough to be admitted we will have to find a bills bar in Boston.
