Why soo many rejections in round 2?
Depends on the pool really. I think the rejections are a common theme in HBS. We also don’t provide ding analysis for HBS and Stanford for one simple reason- even the best ones get rejected- it relies a lot on the pool. Yes, there always are objectively horrible profiles where neither the statistics nor the work ex measure up to HBS standards but generally, a lot of good profiles get rejected. Thankfully my client didn’t. But we both knew the risk we were taking before jumping in. Good luck to everyone who got invited to interview. The real test happens now. Be bold, be a leader!

i thought harvard wanted leaders already ?
Core quality- focused and potential to lead the industry they operate in eventually. Leadership is an ever growing process if you so choose (or if there is a point in it for you)
