I ask each person to write out/speak to why they chose/started the thing, why they quit the thing if applicable/started the new thing, the main contribution (which demonstrates leadership preferably), what they learned from it, and how it shaped them. This covers a lot of ground and gets into enough depth usually.

I score 740 on classic gmat . I am Indian engineer with 6 years of work-ex, leading a team. I have done some extra curriculars but don’t have certificates. Should I retake gmat to get into HBS? Or should I work on strengthening extra curriculars ?

Congratulations on the score! While a higher GMAT is always helpful, the benefit w.r.t HBS would be minimal for securing an admittance. Hi - does anyone know what the format of the post interview reflection is supposed to be? I’ve seen people do it as a thank you letter and do it as a general reflection.

Hi @ivyus, I’m not sure I understand your question. If you want to know more about application processes for Harvard and other others, you can checkout the application process page on each school’s website. GMATClub also has a ton of great resources. For example, these application walkthrough videos show how to fill in the applications for about 25 schools: mba-application-walkthroughs-experts-fill-out-top-mba-applications-420276.html

Harvard has a page for MBA application requirements just like all the other schools. To prepare for HBS MBA, you need to meet that checklist (most schools have the same checklist). If you are asking how you should prepare your profile for an MBA- that is a very nuanced question and cannot be answered without knowing your current profile first.
