Submitted my application today. HEC has been my top choice since Day 1. Will provide updates on status and let everyone know my experiences. I'm optimistic and trusting for the best.

Hi guys,

To all those who have been admitted already. Can someone give any advice? I understand that there are two rounds of interviews for HEC, do they take place on the same day or not? I am trying to decide if I should interview in Paris or London as it would not be possible for me to take 2 seperate days off work to go for the interviews.
Any advice will be much appreciated as I am trying to make the deadline for Sunday.
Thanks so much.

Hi sykhong,

Normally interviews do not take place on the same day. You receive a separate mail (from the admissions team) for each interviewer with his/her contact details and date of the interview. After that you have to contact your interviewers to finalize the place and time of your rendezvous.

Hi,

Just completed my first interview today and it wasn't as good as I had expected. Now my only chance is to perform well in the second interview which is on 2nd Feb.
So I wanted to know whether I can use a different presentation in my second interview. Any inputs?

Hi sirlancelot,

Agree with wishingpraying. You can use the same presentation in both your interviews or make two different presentations. It is totally up to you.

The MBAT (also unofficially dubbed as the MBA Olympics), which is one of the largest MBA sporting events in the world, is going to be held from 7th May to 9th May this year. Rest assured it is going to be even bigger and better this time as 2015 marks 25 years of MBAT.

Hello People,

It seems a lot of you are facing technical issues while submitting the application. I would advise you to wait for some time and try again. In case you are still not able to do it just send me a PM. I will go and check with the admissions team on Monday and get it sorted.

Hello Everyone,

In case you are still facing a problem in submitting your application, send a mail to the admissions team informing them about the situation before the deadline is over. As it is a Sunday today, the admissions staff members are not there on campus. So just send them an e-mail to let them know that the link wasn't working properly. I am sure they will sort out the issue tomorrow.
In the meantime, if it starts working please feel free to share the news here.

Hi sykhong,

The admissions team will inform you the interviewer details, after that its between you and interviewer to decide on the best date. My two cents, have it on different dates as it will help you to study the interview and work on any shortcomings.

PS: Make sure that the interviews are completed before the date admissions committee has decided.

Hi sirlancelot,

My take, stick to the same presentation. Just preparing a new one will be an unnecessary headache and think about the time you have to spend preparing. Presentations are just an avenue to gauge your innovative mindset. As far as interview goes, you can never measure how well you fared in the interview so just be calm and give the second one. Think of the interview as an avenue to connect yourself to a college representative. HEC has already certified you academically, but they still want to know how well you will gel with the students, whether you are a right fit. Thats where interview helps.

Be honest with yourself and bang the second interview :-D

While I wait to hear my application decision in 4 days from now, my mind can not help but think about the outcome and make random calculations of my chances for getting in HEC. Does anyone know the stats for admission/rejection after the interview stage?

I think the worst time is the phase of waiting for decisions :P I still have about 10 days to my pre-selection decision. Each mail that pops up in the inbox makes me nervous !
