Hello all!
I've a short question. How should the CV/Resume looks like? Is there any standard format?
I know that there are big diffrences betwenn CVs/Resumes in US and Europe, but thee also some within the EU. So should I use the office EU format or wichi format should I use?
Probably soemone has a template or proofed example for me!

I got an interview invite today will schedule it for the next week .
I had a question about the Assessment day . Hoping I do get an invite to there as well , what if I cannot travel all the way to Singapore from India. How important is it considered in the admission process.

Avinash, I strongly advise you to attend the Assessment Day (AD)
Below is what the AD invitation email says:
"Although not mandatory, Assessment Day has become one of the most important parts of IESE’s admissions process. Should you be in a situation that prohibits you from attending the Assessment Day, we ask that you make this known to the Committee. In this case, a final decision on your application will be based on the information (on-line application and process interview) that we have by the deadline for the round in which you applied."

Does anyone know if recommenders receive the following two questions? I need to know how much time it could potential take for my recommenders to do their part. Thanks!
1. How do the candidate's performance, potential, or personal qualities compare to those of other well-qualified individuals in similar roles? Please provide specific examples (300 words).
2. Please describe the most important piece of constructive feedback you have given the applicant. Please detail the circumstances and the applicant's response (250 words).

Hey Plastman,

my mistake was that i only sent my recommenders the questions when i finished my application. I would suggest that you register them as your recommenders already as early as now. They should get an official email from IESE, and you can just follow it up as you process your application

You can have the school send them the questions by going to the "Recommendations" tab in the embark site, register their names and e-mail addresses, and youre done. They should get the questions already and be able to start drafting their letters while you worry about everything else

btw I found out that they are the same questions for Ross MBA. So I asked my reference to submit my recommendation to Ross too

Check your other applications. Maybe one of them has the same questions

Still nothing from my side.

I sent a friendly email back in October about it (because I wanted to sort a hotel in advance to prevent any full bookings), but got a response on Oct 27, 2014 saying that they will let us know in "a couple of weeks".

I hesitate to send another reminder with the fear of coming off as pushy, but I hope we can get the feedback soon.

Already booked my hotel in the center of Singapore. Only time will tell if I need to commute like crazy in the morning to make it to the venue on time! Suppose the place cant be too far out considering the small size of Singapore, aye?
