Thank you pc1996,

I have compiled the list of all the extempore topics at the following link

extempore-topics-for-iim-a-interviews-346557.html#p2710547

It would be great to hear others extempore topics they got in their interview :)

I see someone has updated the decision tracker with IIM A admitted. Have they started rolling out the results?

They might’ve updated the tracker late. IIM A had just completed their interviews yesterday, I’m sure it’ll take a few more days for the results

It would not be wise on the part of IIMA to release results after the last date of offer acceptance at IIMB. Someone who gets allocated IIMB might not want to take the risk to wait for the result of IIMA. But since IIMB results are delayed, therefore, there is no pressure on IIMA to release the results early.

I did poorly in my interview last week, and am now having to retake GMAT so I can reapply in R2.
Is there any bias against people who are reapplying in R2 after failing interview in R1 ? Or are my chances the same ?
Hi @Krishanps54, can you please share your interview experience a bit in detail.

No score is a safe score. IIMs will look at your profile, applications, score and interview performance holistically. Once you are done with GMAT, you should focus on your applications and interview prep.

Thank you... My bigger concern is that I don’t have anything extraordinary in my profile and I was hoping to understand what could be the ways to overcome that aspect

Dont worry about extraordinary.Get a decent score and tell your story, a story that fits with what they want.

Hope they release early. IIMB results are out now. Any idea that by when do IIMB admits have to confirm?
Their portal mentions 2nd Oct. If that is the case then IIMA should release by tomorrow so that someone who gets both B and A has a clear choice.
