INSEAD has just announced the extension of its final Round 4 MBA application deadline for the January 2026 intake to 26 August 2025.

Alongside the extended application deadline, INSEAD is also reopening scholarship applications for Round 4 and doubling the number of opportunities available, providing critical financial support to high-potential applicants.

Mark Stabile, Dean of Degree Programmes at INSEAD, explains the reason behind it.
“Over the past months, we’ve been hearing from many accomplished professionals around the world who are still finalising plans amid continued global uncertainty. By extending our final MBA application deadline and reopening scholarship applications, we’re taking extra steps to provide meaningful support.”

What does an extra Adcom director interview or video call suggest? It was stated for clarification. AFTER the required 2 alumni interviews. Does it lean more positive or negative?

While not a sure admit signal, an Adcom follow-up leans more positive than negative. Sometimes, these interviews are used to validate concerns; they might want to better understand your vision and how realistic your plan is. But being invited means they still see potential in your profile. Good luck evenlamer

Usually from what I know, there is no preference as such for scholarship irrespective of the campus you apply to.

They give out scholarships on merit, and have some amount set aside for each intake and campus. However, that being said, they have some scholarships just for the Singapore campus like Asia fund and IAF

Looks like comparing apple vs oranges vs mango...

All these schools are great. Cracking them is no easy job even for a killer profile.

Hello! I’m Vanshika. I graduated in 2023 with a B.Com (Hons.) from NMIMS with a 3.3/4 CGPA, and I have 2 years of work experience as a Strategy Analyst at a wealth management company. I’m planning to apply to MBA programs this year.

Given my tenure of work experience, what are my odds at INSEAD?

vanshika2410 - your work-ex (2 years as of date) is a bit on the lower side for INSEAD. Which company are you working in, and have there been any promotions/ progression? And what's your GMAT/ GRE score?

Broadly, I'd suggest working for a year (or two) more before applying to INSEAD. The school values aspects such as work experience, leadership (not necessarily title-based), international exposure, extracurriculars, etc. and this timeframe can help you build a strong profile overall.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Arvind
