Guys, until when can we expect it to be as competitive as it was this year?? As in alot of people are preferring to stay in India because of the pandemic... so any idea if ISB admission scenes will be back to as it were 2 years back

???

I am on the admitted candidates https://gmatclub.com/chat group, and out of 807 odd people on the group, only 4-5 are talking about deferring this year. Even if some will defer and are not yet talking about it, I doubt deferrals will be as high as last year’s

Well, it should at least be easier next year too

Can’t say, on one side no one is talking about deferring, and on the other side, not a lot of people are happy with the 3 month online course

Out of this 807 number, would this have candidates that didn’t give deposit / withdrew their deposit because of admission to another school, eg in US?

It’s just an assumption. Anything might happen

Yes, this has all candidates. So if some leave isb to go to US, I wouldn’t know that number right now. But circling back to what shikha said, maybe a lot of people are not willing to go abroad this year because of covid

When is the last date to withdraw deposits - I mean a lot of deferrals (if any) would depend on the COVID situation at the time. So just wanted to know is their a last date by which candidates have an option to withdraw their deposit?

Actually I have heard that people would prefer to go to US because the vaccination program is running well and a significant proportion of the population has been vaccinated. So in person classes there are more likely.

But all this is speculation :)
