Oh! Didn't know that. I thought isb announces the result on the same day for everyone generally.

Got an interview invite last night for 20th Nov, after almost 2 months of excruciating wait! :D

All I can say to folks who have been waiting - keep calm and endure. If you are confident about your profile, you will get the call. I was going crazy trying to deduce a pattern, looks like there is no pattern at all.

My interview is with Panel 1 - has anyone here been interviewed by Panel 1? How was your experience?

Thank you! I submitted the application on 20th September, and received the verification email on 22nd September. GMAT score is 750.

No idea. Guys shortlisted for IIMs' interviews have a WA group and so was curious to know if that's the case here as well...


Can someone explain how the IIM admissions work? I thought it was on the basis of the CAT exam on 29th Nov??

What's being referred here is for the one-year program (min 4-5 years of WE required). Admissions happen through GMAT/GRE, essays, app. recco, etc. CAT is for the 2-year program.

On a different note, what do you guys wear for the interview? Suit or formals? Not just for isb, an MBA interview in general

Highly recommended wearing a suit if you can find one.
Not only does it make you look like a serious candidate, it does wonders for your confidence as well.

Another underrated trick is to clean your room in case of Zoom interviews. Helps set the vibe. :D

It is ~INR 300,000 as the admissions fee (partly refundable as per 20-21 schedule) has to be paid while accepting the offer.

Finally after 2 months of expecting and trying to figure out patterns, and bouts of distracting myself from such thoughts, I am excited to have received the interview invite. Got the email, at 3:30pm today, and the interview is scheduled for the 22nd (Sunday). Maybe they are now reducing the time between invites and the interview dates!
Mentioned as Panel 9, in the ISB application portal.

From what I observed on the GMAT club ISB forum chat, a majority of the invites have been for folks submitting the completed application on the 20th of September.

Compatively very few invites for folks with score submissions after the deadline and verification dates around 20/October/2020

Please correct me if I'm wrong here

Hi Gargi!
A few people with GRE scores have received invites. The scores have mostly ranged between 323-330 (This range comes to mind after combing through the GMAT club ISB chat room)
