I am more interested in career outcomes, hiring bias, point of optimum ROI.

Anyone has insights on these. It seems all the articles on net are 1-2 years old at the latest.

Rankings themselves cannot be trusted as they are highly influenced by some weightage or other.

My 2 cents. The major difference first of all is location. Wherever you do your MBA from, you’d want to cash in that MBA in that very location for next 6/7 years, perhaps for the rest of your life. That said - major differences are - pedigree of companies recruiting (since tech is more HQed outside India), colleges outside India and especially European are 30/40% more expensive than ISB but their avg pay is higher than fee, from an ROI standpoint - they’re better, European colleges / recruiters again have lesser hiring bias since visa rules are flexible (unlike US), also the cohort is more diverse than ISB / IIMs - from what I’ve understood - you truly get a very diverse and rich experience, also the Cohort has more work experience and are more mature unlike Indian B schools

I don’t see Europe having better visa rules than the US.

STEM program in US gets you a guarantee of 3 years of stayback, whereas there is no such thing in Europe along with language barrier and other soft issues.

Can you pls help with stay back programs Europe that you know of.

In USA, H1B is lottery based. That is the problem. While there is no lottery system in Europe.

STEM MBAs aren’t offered by all US schools and as dentalmba123 mentioned the lottery system is a concern. You don’t recover 2year MBA cost in 3 year work. Europe on the other hand has a more streamlined path to work visa renewal and eventually PR (if that’s your aim).

IIMs have more brand recognition since they’re old so have a higher alum base but beyond that IIM 2year MBA and ISB is pretty comparable

You have to be extremely rare to get post MBA job like front office consulting, finance,marketing in Europe as an Asian.
